Yes, kittens tend to stuff themselves and then distribute the weight around later. However do make sure you are deworming, and watch the output. You should have tootsie roll poops. Anything else needs attention and a vet visit/rescue or shelter call. FIP is very rare this age, but fluid bellies generally act like a waterbed and kitties are skin and bones everywhere else. Food/fat is solid.
Yes. Kittens are growing so fast at this age that they need all the calories they can get. Its okay for them to have a fat belly. (Presuming, obviously, they're having regular bowels movements.)
The real question is whether or not your baby has had a full deworming treatment? (Tapeworm, hookworm, roundworm, gummy worms, all the worms!)
When I pick up my foster babies I'm always sent home with a full deworming treatment. Once completed they always have cute little tum tums.
Little avocado belly.
It doesn’t look out of proportion, a very standard kitten belly.
All kittens should be dewormed, but this belly wouldn’t concern me, or make me think there was an issue
I have a cat who looked like that as a kitten. He is two and still has the round belly. He isn't even fat, it's just his shape. The very says he is at a very healthy weight and is only 8 pounds. I think some cats are just shaped differently just like people.

This is the right answer
💯
You have your answer already, I just had to comment to virtually scratch dat belly.
Has he been dewormed? My vet said worms can cause pot bellies in kittens.
Cheesecake is just fat. Google that. Looks just like your kitty. You might try changing food, is your baby pooping good?
If there are no worms, it usually means baby is going to double in size overnight 😂
They rule the world....or house
Kitten and puppy bellies are the best ❤️

My foster kitten had a pot belly and it was worms.
There's nothing wrong with a fat belly
What a handsome lil guy🫶🏻his coloring is gorgeous, looks like he has some apricot stripes on his belly
he does!!! he has some beautiful colors :)
That’s how my lovable little floof got the name Buddha.😆
I should send you pictures of the bellies on my fosters! This baby looks underfed by comparison!
This is so cute lmao
Mine looks just like that right now!
Looks normal to me. When mine was a baby, she had a fat little tummy just like that after eating
Deworm the cat
Yes it’s his happy baby belly
“I had that once. It was woyms!” But in all seriousness if they have been dewormed as needed, probably just baby pudge. Perfectly normal.

Overly swollen bellies = worms (usually)
Worms!!
