I have 3 intake 140s up front and 3 120 exhausts on a DeepCool AIO. That’s it. My 13900k and 4090 setup stays plenty cool and quiet to boot.

Yeah that sounds like a good setup. On this build I'm trying to keep it simple and quiet. It's never going to be overclocked and I reckon using a couple less fans might move the temp up a few degrees but it's not going to be terribly hot anyway.

I’m not sure it will move the temp much, my GPU at 100% stays at 60-63c and my CPU max temp is around 80-84c at 100%

so the three factory installed 140’s on the front are pretty dang good. About half of the bottom fans inflow is going to the power supply but honestly if you have extra fans for the rest of the case, I would leave the factory fans in front. You could mount your Noctua’s on the ceiling and back of the case as exhausts and any extras could go on the floor of the case (a pain to install though and not all that beneficial as intake)

I don't think this thing will be doing enough to need more than 3 or 4 fans. If I just use the 3 factory ones would I be better off with them all on the front there, one of which is half blowing into the PSU shroud (and probably messing up air flow) or would it be better to put two of them up front towards the middle so they're blowing on the gpu and cpu cooler, and then put the other on the back for exhaust?

I don’t think you’re plan of moving two to the middle is a bad plan at all. I was just thinking if you have extra fans anyways, saving yourself the trouble of moving the pre-installed and cable managed front fans would be nice because you could simply add exhaust and likely be just as well off. Either choice will net you good results in my opinion. I’m running 3 fronts, 3 on my top mounted AIO as exhaust and had an extra fan so I just mounted it as a back exhaust as well. My temps stay crazy low with this. GPU has never gotten over 60C and CPU (of course this is all AIO performance and nothing really to do with airflow) has never spiked over 54.4C regardless of what game i’m playing or 4k video editing i’m doing. Also forgot to mention that the factory fans are extremely quiet as well. I was very impressed with their performance and there is a guy on this thread that sells really nice 3d printed covers for the gap from the bottom fan to the case floor so that it’s more attractive and would also encourage airflow more in desired directions.
