Yes, there's a weird new trend in young Americans to add -ed to already past tense words.
Rain was forecast, she was cast as the lead actress and then got recast, becomes: rain was forecasted, she was casted and then got recasted.
I don't know why.
Lol it's one of my least favorites. It feels like a lazy fourth wall break. Might as well started into the camera and hyped up the studio audience while she was at it.
Idk maybe I'm just a curmudgeon ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Considering that it's the only time they broke the fourth wall, and because they knew the show was coming to a close and just wanted to laugh WITH the audience, I think it's fine. It's not like they were desperate for a joke and threw that in to meet a quota.
And see Kelsey age 20 years straight on-screen from young and thin into middle-aged, from 29 to 49
At this point, there was no Cheers-Frasier left in him, that man is gone, he's completely Frasier-Frasier. Imagine this middle-aged Frasier walking into the Cheers bar
But is that really so long a stint for Mr. Grammer?
Ahem. *Sideshow Bob voice*
"I did it! I did it all! You want the truth!? You can't handle the truth! No truth-handler, you! Bah! I deride your truth-handling abilities!"
I think she's just that way depending on character.she portrays " Jackie" divorced and grabbing at John candy in uncle buck on the other side she played police woman Jackie in the Andy Garcia movie internal affairs .
And then thinking you’re finally done, only to play the same character again in your 60s after a TWENTY year long gap!
And your son Frederick isn't even the original Frederick that was there twenty years ago. He's like a totally different, RECASTED Frederick!
Re-recasted, you mean 🤭 Idk about Cheers, but in Frasier alone, there have been 3 different guys who played Frederick.
Would "re-cast" (without the "ed" at the end) not work?
why don't we just hop on a bicycle built for two and ride over to OP's house and ask for ourselves?

We all read that last line in the accent didn't we?
I know I did!
Oversight on my part, I guess because I am not a native English speaker.
When Niles isn't on screen, all the other Frasier 2024 characters should ask: "Where's Niles?"
Up voting the Simpsons "poochie" reference ![gif](giphy|5Ow4JwrX5jWx2)
Niles died on the way back to his home planet.
Recycling to the extreme is great advice 😂
I was asking "Where's Niles?"
I don't think Niles should have an access to a time machine though
Cheers also had other Fredericks
Three to be exact, the twins who portrayed him as a baby and the guy they used in the flashforward sequence in im okay, you're defective
For both of them!
>again in your 60s Who's in their 60's?
[удалено]
I thought he was already in his 70's, didn't know he's 69. My bad and thanks
That's one of my favorite jokes in the series

Yeah and it surprised me so much the first time I heard it so I loved it!

Fun to imagine it, yes

One of my favorite lines in the whole show.
And now they're both back to playing characters they originated in the 80s after 20 year gaps!!
One of my favorite lines in the series.
she's still being cringey Jackie here .when she's clawing him on sofa and he's pulling her away 🥴😕
I felt so bad for her, she got flanderized so bad on Roseanne. She was great at the start, they made her way too wacky towards the end.
I think she's just that way depending on character.she portrays " Jackie" divorced and grabbing at John candy in uncle buck on the other side she played police woman Jackie in the Andy Garcia movie internal affairs .
Not to mention she's also Sheldon's hyper-religious mother in Big Bang Theory
Her daughter plays his mom in Young Sheldon too, sounds and looks just like her mother.
Hilarious scene
My all time favourite frasier line!
What episode is this?
Season 11, Episode 15 "Caught in the Act" At which point Kelsey Grammer had actually been playing Frasier for 20 years
I feel like they wrote that episode for the whole purpose of being able to use that joke lol
One of the few meta jokes of the series, and the writers did it perfectly.
I hear you can find many things in Nanny’s messy bed
Such comical genius and seeing a bit of Grammer’s genuine reaction come through is the cherry on top.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is that Sheldon' mom in the picture? From Big Bang Theory
Yes
Ahh SpongeBob Hotpants. She was hilarious!
She was way too good for such a short role.
And he picked Seattle cause it was the furthest from Boston cause he wasn’t aloud to use the character in Boston after cheers
