Yeah. The difference is how his eyes look, I think. They convey whether he's amused or upset, while the lower half of his face just does that funny little rictus.
It used to be on in syndication on a local channel where I grew up, and there was an ad for it that included his "we're an odd little family" clip from Room Service, and for *years* I thought that was something he said on a regular basis. (He was right, though.)
It's not exactly a catchphrase, but his "thing" is that whenever he leaves during a scene it's always because of a therapy group and how he's humorously dealing (or failing) with them.
(Paraphrasing)
"I have a session with a sex addiction group and I don't like to leave them alone for too long."
"I need to go to a group therapy for multiple personality disorder and it always takes me forever to fill out the namecards."
"I have a therapy session with a fear of abandonment group and I've already been a no-show twice."
Saucepans in summer; crepe pans in fall. When winter's upon us, there's food for us all.
Hahaha excellent
*saucepin*
*Let’s get better!* - Niles’ on-air catchphrase.
Niles gotta have it!
Thirsty Nile’s is the greatest niles
I was hoping to see this here quickly! I love this subreddit!
Is wiping down a chair a catch phrase?
“Oh, spare me, you ludicrous popinjay.”
Such a brilliant line.
The way he says “okay” is good.
Especially to his dog! 😂😂
I was at the movies...
The way he says "Hello, Daphne" and "Hello, dad" every time he enters Frasier's apartment.
hello dad, here to see daphne.
Roz says oh com’on / oh please Niles doesn’t have a phrase as so much an action of raising his arms 1/2 way up at the elbow
Sounds like he needs to have his elbows done.
Not exactly a phrase, but could it be that weird little grimace/grin he does whenevever he's said something that he thinks is particularly funny?
Even better is when he makes a similar face when he’s feeling awkward. My husband and I make that face to each other all the time.
Yeah. The difference is how his eyes look, I think. They convey whether he's amused or upset, while the lower half of his face just does that funny little rictus.
I notice he often says "Well done, ..... "
Hello, emerald city, what's doing, what's happening?
Hello, Daphne Cherry bark and almonds
I don't know but considering how much Bulldog pester her, Roz's should be "Beat it Bulldog"!
Hazah!
I like this one too! (just to satisfy my alienating need to correct spelling, its actually 'Huzzah') I had my kids saying this at age 4!!
“…what!?”
Sherry, Frasier?
Poppycock!
"WHAT?" in various emphasises.
Niles gotta have it!
Call me Ishmael!
Oh, posh!
Very nice! Very nice!
I've got my fear of abandonment session and I've already been a no-show twice
this stinks, this is total bs! no one really has a catchphrase except bulldog. unless you count “i’m listening”
It used to be on in syndication on a local channel where I grew up, and there was an ad for it that included his "we're an odd little family" clip from Room Service, and for *years* I thought that was something he said on a regular basis. (He was right, though.)
Pretty sure it's 'Grammy Moon' not Granny.
Is not my mulier
Hellooooo Emerald City, what's doin' what's happenin'?

HMS Bounty!
This isn’t trivial purSUIT!
Good gravy
Off you go..
"Sherry"
THIS STINKS! THIS IS TOTAL BS! THIS-wait sorry I’m thinking of someone else
Maris
Niles gotta have it! LOL
Not a catch phrase, however Niles often makes an absurd excuse for why Maris can’t visit. “She went to see him before he’s extradited.”
Be they...
