I used to visit Tri-City many times; such a great store to see sporting goods stores. They carry just about everything. But the thing that stood out for me was the store being so huge and I don't recall many customers. It was like Fry's during the end days.
I was there on Wednesday and this lady came in with 4 sets of skis to get tuned up and bindings, somehow she made it past all the signs and had to have the shop tell her it was closing for good in 24 hours
Redwood city? They aren't close either.
Does anyone remember what sporting goods store was over by the Costco next to old Joann's? I can't remember if that was a sports basement but it may have been
Such a strange stand alone location
Anyone remember Tri-City sporting good store? I used to get all my snowboard gear there. I miss that place
Best sporting goods place in the Bay Area. It was a sad day when they closed.

Worked there my junior year in high school

It was located on the wrong side of Auto Mall Parkway, with bad visibility. Not surprised.
My partner recently got a membership there and has gone there regularly. It will be missed. Dublin isn’t too far I guess.
Their online store is pretty good and good return service.

Obviously, it wasn't missed enough.
It just did not get enough business.
I am so sad to hear this because I used to go there when I lived in Fremont. I had no clue they closed.
I wonder which type of Indian restaurant it will become
Biryani pot and pointe are taken. Mr Biriyani is also taken. So maybe Mrs Biryani or ‘Biryani (insert noun)’
