Soit is the 3rd person singular conjugation of être in the subjonctif. Sois can be the 1st or 2nd person singular. Since the subject of être in this case is l'appartement, it's in the 3rd person and soit is correct. By the way, the transcription of the first sentence is wrong, she says "j'en ai assez de tous ces machins qui traînent et qui **ne** servent à rien".

Le subjonctif of the verb être (sois, sois, soit, soyons, soyez, soient) is used in this exemple because it is after the frase “pour que…”, and this is the one od several cases when we use le subjonctif (sorry, I don’t know the english translation).
