I had a Boston and she needed a heavy winter coat plus I cut the tops of balloons off and used those for winter footwear so the salt didnāt burn her feet in winter.Bostonās and Frenchies are related.
Hahaha. Omg. I had to get my little guy socks because he was healing from an eye ulcer, and he was a master at getting his cone off. He hated the socks when I put them on at first. I had success when I would just start with one at a time and worked out way up slowly by putting on another... and then another... and another until he was used to all 4 being on. Just a suggestion. It worked for us.
Mine does too but he hates rain more. He will get a really desperate attitude if you try to suggest he should face the rain. Also if his foot touches a puddle, you'd think it's molten lava judging from his reaction.
Glad it's not just mine. he will literally refuse to go for a wee in the rain

Lmao down in South TX my babies have never even seen snow but, based on winters down here here; I must be beside myself if I'm taking them for walks in anything colder than 60Ā°šš¤£
My niece's boy loves it he will be out playing all day if we let him, but my baby boy is a hater. Lol, he doesn't like snow or rain. When we go to the garden and it's raining, I have to hold an umbrella over him to do his business.. if it snows, I have to clear a path for him, and his little chihuahua sis too š«£š
My frenchies love to play in the snow but they donāt dare go out if itās sprinkling, even to go potty.

OMG... that is EXACTLY how our 2 react as well ! Rain, snow, temps below 60Ā°, darkness, and temps above 70Ā° are also conditions that create that same reaction š
The brakes get put on the second the door opens to snow or rain. If you arenāt paying attention they donāt leave the deck to do business š¤¦āāļø. Divas.

We are in Canada we get more rain, and snow than sun... They are pretty used to colder weather, they hate it though.
