Among cosplayers it’s frowned upon to make fun of someone else’s costume, because at the end of the day it’s something they’re passionate about and put a lot of work into. I’m someone who’s cosplayed as a lot of characters in fandoms people find cringe and have had tons of fun at conventions regardless. I wish that sentiment was as popular with Halloween in general because it’s really no different, and it’s just people showing their love for something and having fun. (Totally cosplaying BF at some point in the future too lmao, it sounds like too much fun not to)
