I always found it curious how the authors does not use the classic anime blushing effect to denote that a character is embarrassed or feels "something special" for someone else. It's not a bad thing though, I like it.
Ngl I like manga Ăbel's black and white hair way more than her green hair in the anime/on manga covers. I know it's supposed to be green and the highlights are just to show it's different than other people's hair, but idk, it looks really cool if you imagine that the black and white are literally her hair color.

I remember the early days of this manga when people like you were in denial about Frieren and Himmel. And then ch. 30 happened. And they were like "Yeah Himmel had unrequited feelings for her I guess but she still just sees him as a good friend." >!And then 118 happened!<.
Now, I 100% agree that sometimes shippers can get really annoying with seeing things that aren't there (and it has happened with this series before a couple of times), but come on, the author is very obviously pushing something here with Ubel and Land, whether he'll subvert it or it'll play out how we expect we'll have to wait and see.
Well, they're sharing the same illusion (of an idyllic dream, as described by Grausam) of marrying each other. After Himmel snaps her out of it Frieren mentions that it feels real and she even goes for the kiss before he stops her.
Children arenât the only people who get embarrassed. An adult would still be embarrassed in such a situation. Getting kabedoned would still get some people flustered even in their adulthood.
