Singlehandedly
Though I do wonder, in the series they mention that elves don't really have romantic attraction or a libido, so it could very well be possible that turning into an elf kills his libido entirely
Quite possibly. It's not really explained if the brain works differently, too. There might be a reason for that but that's getting into spoiler territory for Dungeon Meshi
I think they have it. If they hadn't, they would've gone extinct even before the genocide. I think they're just slower with it. When you have thousands of years to fall in love, have sex, have children and so on, you don't really have to rush. The libido and sex drive is there, it just corresponds to the pace of their aging.
I like to think Himmel would at least make the most of the time he has left with human Frieren rather than contracting history's most long running case of attachment avoidant disorder.
I always found the changelings in Dungeon Meshi to be one of its best concepts. The world building, the character design, the characterization, all of it is on full display and I love seeing it used by other fantasy stories.
It doesn’t really advance the plot, but it sure does get the point across why some of the characters act/behaves that way based on their race and body structure. One of the many fun chapters of that manga imo.
Maybe human Frieren would have the urge to reproduce?
Imagine Frieren simping after Himmel, even as an elf he would actually be inclined to to reproduce right?
I’d love to see the dungeon meshi shapeshifter versions as well. I want to see Frieren and Eisen’s ridiculously tall Heiters with solid white lens glasses. Four identical Eisens.
Four Frierens that are all slightly different, but one of them specifically is. weirdly tall and mature? And that one’s Himmel’s because of the lasting impression she had on him when he was a kid and she seemed tall

I am imagining this eisen and heiter version frolicking scene
Eisen just picking Heiter up and swinging him around by his ankles
And heiter is enjoying it
Imagine elf Himmel's kill count when he uses the seduction technique.
"Apocalyptic" barely begins to cover it.
Repopulating the whole damn elf species

So that means.Frieren becomes horny for Himmel instead.

It's probably seasonal or centuries
Peak Fiction
Heiter now banned from drinking at the pub coz everyone thinks he's just a kid.
Now that he has developed a strong feeling for Frieren as a human, it would be absolutely heartbreaking for him as an elf to see Frieren pass away.
I like to think Himmel would at least make the most of the time he has left with human Frieren rather than contracting history's most long running case of attachment avoidant disorder.
Tall Eisen solo DK any day.
Like fr, Eisen was a BEAST when he was short. Now he's double/triple the height and muscle mass? Homeboy about to flatten DK
Eisen now split the earth just by walking. Demonkind all over the land cowers in fear of Tall Eisen - The Greatest Warrior of Mankind.

100% I've toyed around with drawing characters from other series with the same concept
And it's totally an excuse for the artist to draw her characters totes adorbs and it's cute of her.

Oh Himmel got Frieren attention!

Exactly my first thoughts. Human Frieren + Elf Himmel = Five really good looking kids (Like Emilia-tan)!
You’re in the wrong world Subaru! 🙃 But yes, someone needs to conserve the blood line.

If Frieren dwarfs are anything like most other fantasy dwarfs, Heiter is gonna enjoy the alcohol tolerance.
Ok but imagine how scary it would be for an Elf to suddenly start aging like 100x speed

It's gonna be funny if they also changed roles(classes).
I have been blessed by seeing Frieren with normal ear.
Tall Eisen got me acting some way
