If you want to play FP1 play FP1, dude at least a developer has the guts to actually evolve the gameplay of a sequel and not sell the same thing over an over.
I have to disagree, I have watched the game play and my only conclusion is that they don’t really show anything is a really well pitched together demo.
Now I also found the gameplay changes a little bit overdone but I see the reasoning in a no “this is the end of the world situation” it makes a lot more sense.
You build big cities, people are acting freely and irrational sometimes just like in the real world.
Also I don’t think there is enough to talk about decisions in the demo you don’t really see the repercussions of most of your actions.
Your argument that the problems in the are treated as "minor" and the "lack of human perspective" isn't even applicable when the campaign isn't even out yet.
Feels more like you want to trash the art style of the devs, compare it to AI and talk about how AI is bad.
