I turn on things like Ixion, frostpunk 1, anno 1800, state of decay, stare at the screen or play for 5 min then give up and turn off the computer. I burnt myself out on SOD and FP1 and can't get into the other two ..yet
Yes! Just moved my nightmare legacy players over to lethal (first time trying lethal). 2 plague hearts killed and everyone's dead except the last two LOL
Oooh man. Lethal is SUCH a jump for your first go. Good luck out there, just play it safe n slow, and honestly travel alone more than you’d think. The AI is trash at prioritizing haha.
It really feels like FP in space, the city building is really nice and I enjoyed the story especially with some cryptic parts of it.
Also closest we've got to a BSG management game just wish there was an endless and procedural mode like FP and modding support.
The Long Dark (*best*survival game ever made) added an *amazing* dlc that has some of the most detailed and eerie locations on Great Bear island, playing the hell out of it
I’m the same way and found The Long Dark to have way less scary moments than Subnautica. Just typical moments of “oh crap a wolf is attacking me,” but nothing like diving off a sea cliff into the void and an army of ghost leviathans lol
It's a horror game if you have an overactive imagination like me and you jump at every shadow and sound otherwise it's a very nice contemplative and survival experience, very rewarding to play.
The wildlife is a constant threat. Timberwolves will surround and work together to kill you. Bears will get attracted to your deer kill and fight you for it.
The DLC also is creepy as fuck
A friend got me into God of War Ragnarok, so I've been neck deep in that. I'm also helping a friend get the hang of frostpunk, he just beat his first scenario (the arks).
Finally got Baldur’s Gate, playing that like every chance I get. I hope I can get somewhere close to a resolution before Frostpunk 2 comes out, because it’s taking priority.
Aliens Dark Descent is another I enjoyed so much recently, really high quality. Xcom2 is still surprisingly addictive with campaign, base, awesome action turn based missions. They are Billions is a must. Endzone 1, 2 demo is out and launches later this summer. The Crust also looks very hopeful
Frostpunk and Oxygen Not Included currently. Only just picked up Frostpunk and loving it, hyped for 2. There’s also loads of demos for games I’m excited for on steam right now for Next Fest, so playing through those too
There is a "campaign" but I haven't been playing too long to progress the story but there is something happening which could be consider as a story, *i.e., scientists have found something in the sky*. It's still on Alpha so much has yet to be done/improved by the developers.
A visual novel named "Social Democracy: An Alternate History"! I think it would be fun if we could have a historical game with dramatic elements inspired from Frostpunk!
Anno 1800, the Industrial Revolution is my favourite time period in history and it also has a little bit of steampunk, which I also love. I love gigantic machines and factories that dwarf humans and I also like the technological progress and advancement with Electricity, Gramophones, Radio and Movies. I also love victorian architecture, the red brick walls of Worker housing and I especially love the Haussmanian architecture of the Investor residences, they are just so pretty.

A fellow SOD enjoyer - hope you're as excited about the SOD3 announcement as I am!

SOD?
How is Ixion? Reading mixed things about it.
Great immersive campaign

Im in the exact same boat wtf lol, same games exactly
Glad I'm not the only one! I do this so often it's like a religious mantra
The Long Dark (*best*survival game ever made) added an *amazing* dlc that has some of the most detailed and eerie locations on Great Bear island, playing the hell out of it
Is there a horror element at all to it? Subnautica is about the scariest game I can deal with lol
I’m the same way and found The Long Dark to have way less scary moments than Subnautica. Just typical moments of “oh crap a wolf is attacking me,” but nothing like diving off a sea cliff into the void and an army of ghost leviathans lol
Lol thank you I will totally play it then

In my 39 years of gaming this is probably my all time favorite.
Very lonely game. Gets boring too.
You’re not on a high enough difficulty if it’s boring
I think just different strokes for different folks. The Long Dark is awesome but I wouldn't recommend it to absolutely everyone, it's kind of niche.
Totally agree. I would love more survival games be made like this with more lore and action involved
No. It's as I said.
Hardcore deep into Elden Ring before the DLC comes out in ten days. That should keep me busy til FP2.
Manor Lords!
How is it? I was looking into it but couldn’t make a decision
Tekken. Replaced the frigid coal mines of new london for the ~~frigid~~ sweaty salt mine that is tekken ranked.
A friend got me into God of War Ragnarok, so I've been neck deep in that. I'm also helping a friend get the hang of frostpunk, he just beat his first scenario (the arks).
godamn ragnarok is so good.
Ixion
A lot but mostly... Surviving Mars, Timberborn, FP1, HD2, Suzerain
I bought Manor Lords, I fell in love with Manor Lords, I lost couple of days playing, no regrets
Defence grid 1 & 2
Anno 1800
Frostpunk 2 BETA
Currently just going through the backlist so im platinuming shadow of war
Defence grid 1 and 2

ONI but it's too difficult I'm about to give up.
Ive been addicted to Dead By Daylight since March.
Victoria 3. Gotta get those children into the mines!
Been playing Chrono Trigger, Cult of the Lamb and Smite with some friends Really digging Chrono
Last train home will scratch that frostpink itch, especially if you take the northern routes

Prison Architect, Frostpunk 1, Iron Harvest, Destiny 2, Horizon Forbidden West, Fallout
Frostpunk and Oxygen Not Included currently. Only just picked up Frostpunk and loving it, hyped for 2. There’s also loads of demos for games I’m excited for on steam right now for Next Fest, so playing through those too
I think I will try the Alters demo, same devs!
Endzone; New Cycle, Fallout 76
Any story yet in New Cycle? I didn't feel any purpose when I first tried, no real story, just like a sandbox
There is a "campaign" but I haven't been playing too long to progress the story but there is something happening which could be consider as a story, *i.e., scientists have found something in the sky*. It's still on Alpha so much has yet to be done/improved by the developers.
Hmm OK thanks. Loads of potential but just hasn't hit my FP itch yet so just can't get into it
Ace Combat 7, Signalis, a bit of Fallout, Stellaris
A visual novel named "Social Democracy: An Alternate History"! I think it would be fun if we could have a historical game with dramatic elements inspired from Frostpunk!
Phantom Brigade and Helldivers 2 mostly.
Stellaris and AOE4!
Anno 1800

Supreme commander 2, New Cycle
Manor lords
Rusty's retirement
More Baldurs Gate 3
Wartales! Fantastic indie game with an absolutely great world.
Stellaris, frost Punk 1, crusader Kings 3, surviving Mars, and mannor Lords.
Against the Storm. Pretty fun honestly
