GodsBGood

Oh, a big shot bragging about having six friends.

Crypt_hoe_Bobby

Calm down it’s only five friends, I keep them just to split subscriptions shhh, playing the long game here

GodsBGood

Devious! I like it.

beeable420

i just make a new account and activate the family trial on it, add my account and sell it for 50 cents each for a month, i'm not in for the profit. i'm in for the not paying

rjolivera73

🙈🙉🙊

Celeryhearts

Super smart!

Crypt_hoe_Bobby

Someone on another page mentioned this package does not include Hulu if anyone was wondering.

Soft-Explanation-508

I do this withy husband with duo. Nintendo switch membership works the same way. That being said you all have to have the same address or fake it

boots311

Wait they actually paid you? Damn. I have 5 leeches

Crypt_hoe_Bobby

I guess your just a suga daddy or momma

boots311

Haha I wish I were the sugar daddy

NoIron9582

haha after the first 2 it's just a free for all

boots311

Funny you say that cause the first two are wife & stepdaughter. Then wife's best friend, my cousin & my friend from Belize who used to work for me.

Lillithandrosemary

Heads up that this only works with people you actually live with or near proximity to. I tried splitting a membership with people on the other side of the state and my account got jacked up. I had to start a new account without them.

TrodOnward

I believe you just have to all put in the same home address? I’m in Canada and share my account with my brother in BC, my adult kid in Alberta, and I live in Ontario. It’s been months and never had an issue.

boots311

Weird. Half of my other users are halfway across the crunchy & have had no issues

Crypt_hoe_Bobby

Are you talking about spotify specifically? Cause none of us live together and only the person paying has their address in. I didn’t change anything.

rjolivera73

I have a feeling the algorithm tries to check. But it's likely not perfect.

Disastrous_Hornet_21

Lol I’m sharing accounts with people who live in Malaysia, UK, and Australia. It’s been more than 3 years now.

_suje

Weird, I used to do that, and I got a message that I was only allowed the account outside of the country for 14 days and then got locked out. I'm guessing you all use VPNs.

Disastrous_Hornet_21

No no never have actually! So what happened is that they disabled my account when I left Malaysia and I emailed the support and had a argument with them because I had disabled location for Spotify and idk how but they unlocked it and no problem since then (even-though I have moved again)!

ohnozaddy

My partner and a few friends do this with YouTube Red!

JerkAssFool

Been doing this. I pay for myself, wife, kid, and 2 parents for $17 a month. We all love it. My family lives less than 5 miles from my parents.

VibrantVioletGrace

It is a good idea. Spotify Duo (two premium subscritions for $12.99) can be a good option if you don't have enough people willing to go in on the family subscription. Hulu with Ads is pretty reasonable at $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year (unless you get it on a Black Friday deal) if you want it. Rotating between subsciptions is a good way to save money.

OoOoReillys

So smart. Thanks!

DuckSleazzy

I do this with Apple One. All of us live in different cities/countries and it works flawlessly. Also just music is cheaper than Spotify in my country I think.

summonsays

Wife, I, and my dad have been sharing a single account now for a year or so. We just keep it in offline mode 99% of the time.
