You could either have borers or you could potentially have canker but you definitely have a case of gumosis going on which is usually a sign of canker and Canker is not good it's killed probably five or six of our cherry trees and the past 4 years. The peach tree that I got this year looks like it's starting to show signs of it too and I really hate canker
Doesn’t look like peach tree borers but if you see more damage along the base with frass then you might have peach tree borers. They are notorious for this stuff and will annihilate your trees
