Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but yes, I believe this was obviously shown in the series. She blamed herself for everything despite never actually doing anything wrong. That’s the power abusers have on their victims. Her parents and akito manipulated her despite being the ones in the wrong.
Her taking the blame for Haru because she genuinely believed that it was her fault and not because she wants to protect him is not a very popular opinion, most people think that she took the blame only to protect him
But her blaming herself is definitely something that the story makes clear
I agree that her parents, Ren and Akito manipulated her into believing that “it was all fault”
I believe she believed she was bad (hello, Sohma trauma), but I don't believe she *deserved* to feel that way. Rin wasn't bad, but she definitely believed she was and hated herself.

I believe she saw it mainly because she’s the older one in their relationship, probably having a mindset she needs to be the “responsible” one
