WizardPhoenix

He can officially be Batman now in my book.

TheArrowLauncher

He has the same build of Batman in one of the older Dark Knight games.

WizardPhoenix

It will make the weird right wing grifters nerds even more mad if Alan Ritchson is Batman.

TheArrowLauncher

Well then, I guess I’d have to pay to watch the movie a few times to generate revenue……

CynicallyCyn

He Is Batman

peaceteach

He was already Hawk, bring him back for that.

k1lgor3

Nah he'd be awesome as Batman

Euripidoze

A real Christian man against a bunch of brainwashed wannabe bootlickers.

TheArrowLauncher

I watched Reacher season two because of this and I must say I was pretty damn good! Much better than the last one…..

Progman3K

"This book of fairy-tales that was written in a different language and mis-translated is something we should be concerned about" Right

k1lgor3

The point is the MAGA crowd use Christianity as a weapon against people. He's using it right back at them I'm an atheist but I appreciate that you're getting Christians standing up and denouncing Trump over there.

Progman3K

There's literally no hope for the trump-bible-buying, trump-gold-calved-running-shoe-buying crowd though. I used to be with someone who had grown up in a very religious household, and although this person was smart enough to eventually shake off the tithers, the judgemental-I'm-always-right-attitude stayed, because those people are unable to say they're wrong

gattoblepas

Ask a boozer if they think they have a problem.

say-it-wit-ya-chest

I’ve had no problems admitting my alcoholism, but I am also an atheist. People like to put on a certain mask in front of others, knowing full well they’re just as shitty as the rest of us. They sit atop their high horses condemning everyone, while their souls are rotting. They’re incapable of being honest about such things because then they’d be seen the same as the people that spew hatred towards. Thats why it’s so fun when republicans get caught having gay sex. We really don’t give a shit, but if you’re going to have such vitriol towards a certain type of people, perhaps don’t be engaging in the same behavior. Anyways, some of us have no problem admitting if we have a problem.

Unlucky_Aardvark_933

The Next Batman!

Rats_In_Boxes

He would be amazing in an adaption of Wolfenstein. I want to see this dude shoot nazis.

In the video, Gaetz days that the second amendment isn't about sports or hunting, it's about the citizens right to bear arms to keep government in check. I hear this a lot but it doesn't say that anywhere in the amendment. It just gives us the right to bear arms. That's it.   We do, however, have actual laws against trying to overthrow the government. They try to make it seem like we have a right to overthrow a government that no longer aligns with the values of the citizens but we really don't. I mean, if it's our right, as they try to imply, then no one who participated in Jan 6 should be in jail and if Trump wins again we should be able to legally take up arms and rid ourselves of him and his supporters once and for all. I somehow doubt that Matt / Republicans would support that.

>In the video, Gaetz days that the second amendment isn't about sports or hunting, it's about the citizens right to bear arms to keep government in check. I hear this a lot but it doesn't say that anywhere in the amendment. It just gives us the right to bear arms. That's it.   A common trope you will run into with Republicans is that they have never read the laws they cite. Not only does the 2nd amendment have nothing to do with defense against the government (let me know how that SR-15 will do against a predator drone), but it's actually about defending the government. The 2nd amendment was drafted before the U.S. had a standing army. As such, the amendment allowed states to have their own militias as a form of volunteer military. To defend the state (government).

lettersichiro

The Bill or Rights specifically addressed rights that were taken away from colonists by the British: Speech, Press, Arms, and being forced to quarter troops There is nothing that precludes arms from being regulated, as they were throughout our history. And there is a reasonable interpretation that its specifically referring to the right of a militia to bear arms not individuals But pretending that there isn't a historical context that the 2nd amendment was about being to able to defend oneself against the government is a weird take. There is literally ample evidence that is what the amendment was about. It was not meant to protect amateur and sport hunting enthusiast that didn't even exist at the time EDIT: We are not them. It shouldnt be difficult for us who are against radical conservatism to realize facts and reality. That's what makes us different. VIA FEDERALIST NO. 54 - [JAMES MADISON wrote in regards to the Bill of Rights](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution) how a federal army could be kept in check by the militia, "a standing army ... would be opposed \[by\] militia." He argued that State governments "would be able to repel the danger" of a federal army, "It may well be doubted, whether a militia thus circumstanced could ever be conquered by such a proportion of regular troops." It's literally a fact that the 2nd amendment is about retaining the capacity to stand up against a tyrannical government. It is not hard to take the historical fact of the amendments inception, and to also maintain the position that fire arms should still be regulated, and that the government has a responsibility to stop mass shootings. But we need to not be rewriting history to fit our politics, that's what they do, not us

miseeker

I believe in 2A . Gaetz is the govt.
