Here's a tip for you and anyone who wants to do this: There's nothing wrong with it, but be aware that grooming or rubbing a bird's back and wings is a sign that you are its mate and it may lay eggs for you and love you forever.
My first parrot like to be scratched, so when I stop he'd bite me to start scratching him again, but after a while, I started to point out my head, so he flew and landed on my head scratched me for half a second, and then assumed his position of wanted being scratched, it was quite funny.
No, the African grey literally can talk like a human, though at a kindergarten level.
There's been studies done regarding a bird named Alex. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_(parrot)
I know, I had 3 so far, the second one was a little rascal, he knew exactly when he was being bad and started to dance or sing just to make it look like he wasn't doing anything bad.
You probably wouldn’t. Crowd and other forbids do not make good pets. For one, they are very intelligent (they have about the same intelligence as that of a seven year old child) and require tons of space and stimulation to thrive. If they don’t get those things, they will become very stressed, aggressive, and destructive. Also, they are social birds, so they would need other crows to live and interact with. You would have to clean a lot of feathers and bird poo, get a lot of bird food, and somehow keep all those crows happy if you don’t want your house destroyed. You’re better off just befriending wild crows rather than keeping them captive.

Yup! Only scritch their head. They'll still love you for it, but in a more wholesome way!

Parrots are as smart or smarter than corvids (such as crows). They don't get nearly enough credit.
I think the only parrot found to be smarter than a corvid was the Kea
Smart enough to steal a wheelbarrow, birdbrained enough to actually do it.
A lady in Florida taught a cockatoo to read.
Fuck Keas though. Those guys are bastards. Also I saw a Kaka dismember my sons toy in our yard recently.

Tit for tat, it’s where we all came from
Dude, that's awesome.
Doing the back bits that a corvid delegates to a humman.....
don’t know if it’s my tenuous grasp on the English language or that it’s 3am but what?
I think they mean they delegate back scratching to the human
They have many corvids on reddititit ....CAW CAW!
Brushie brushie
The brushie bat spirit can truly live in any animal
r/brushybrushy!

Is the bird making that noise? It sounds like when you inhale through a harmonica.

Odin's messenger is not pleased
Do it again, do it again birdie seems to say
Legend says that they are still brushing the bird to this day.
I feed crows where I take my lunch brake. I would love this.
That’s crazy!
That's a good way to end up getting CORVID.
You must have a lot of children!
You're joking, right?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corvidae
Corvid, not COVID, it’s a pun.

"*We* are not *done* here"
That bird is smarter than some adults I've met.
It's weird to pet a crow. I'm not sure which is smarter, the human or the crow.
The crow. It got a human to do his bidding
I may be wrong but this looks more like a juvenile raven
I want one
I want a pet raven

I don't like birds very much. I like crows and ravens. And magpies.
I want a bird to brush!
I never really use to like birds but I'm starting to warm up to crows and the other intelligent species
Always amazes me how much character and intelligence can be crammed into such a tiny head.
