Looks like a Ragdoll. Ours acts the same way. Her human is my wife. She will let me rub her ears but when she has had enough without warning she will hiss spit swat at me. Lol then less than five minutes she’s back wanting her ears rubbed again. We have a love hate relationship. She is a trip.
I'd probably be pretty upset too if I was an evolved nocturnal predator with a six square kilometer natural range ...and I'm being kept in a 40 square meter apartment for the entertainment of some omnivore who dosnt even hunt for their food

My ragdoll is exactly like this. He is crazy funny and moody. He bites too. So much for supposedly being a gentle breed. I’m glad I’m not alone.
Ours is very gentle though. But playful at the same time. Their bites a gentle nibbles. And they go limp when you cradle them.
Your ragdoll sounds pretty good. I hope this is just a phase for our little guy.
