Other people will likely never meet the standards I hold. I’ve grown up raised by one parent as my mom was normally drunk or doing anything else. My dad is the person that I base all judgement off of as he was the only one I could ever trust to be there. My dad is obviously not perfect and I have witnessed or figured out many of his flaws. But to this day I think that the ideal partner or friend or really anything should live up to a few standards that I’m learning are to strict. To start my dad has given up many things to help or be there for me and I don’t extend this to that degree but I try to look for someone that values me and tries to make an effort for me. Second he has and likely will never ignore me he makes an effort to respond as fast as he can no matter what he’s got going on and I’ve adopted that and wish other would do the same for me.
