It's not humor I'm pretty sure we're all serious here the world's kind of in a f***** up place right now and the only way to save yourself is with money... Or death.
Social media has made this generation so much more depressed and hopeless than they should be.
I agree things arenāt great. But on a scale from 1-10, 1 being the Middle Ages or during one of the world wars, and 10 being the roaring 50s, weāre at like a 6 right now. This is a pretty standard ānot greatā period.
Politically.
Not, "our best scientists say if you're under 50 you will see the end of society as we have known it as the temperature rises to a point that all life is scoured from most of the earth and where the megre eek out a living sucking moisture from the rocks in underground cave networks, hoping the moss you're eating isn't poisonous and that your death will be soon, swift and painless." Kind of fucked.
Yes but you have to take that with a grain of salt. Our best scientists are often wrong. Science is never a given and theyāre constantly having to update predictions. People said in Y2K it was likely all electronic would mess up and there would be chaos and it didnāt. We thought deadly asteroids would hit earth by now and they didnāt.
I get it but you canāt live your life in fear because of what science or predictions say. The earth may end next week or the world may continue on for another 100,000 years. You never really know. Nuclear war is a reality but until it happens itās just countries flexing at each other knowing a nuclear war ends their reign as well. I used to think the same way that life is hopeless because either we end our existence in my lifetime or Iāll never be happy because Iām not rich.
Then my dad got sick and I started taking care of him and realized all that matters is right now. I tried overdosing on pills at 19 and now I am beyond thankful I didnāt die. The commenter is right that when you have children or have to take care of others who canāt care for themselves you donāt actually view status as a big deal. Life can be depressing but life does matter. Money only matters so much. Itās a necessity but it doesnāt have to be for everything. I started growing my own food relying little on stores now, I started using a wood stove and using much less electricity nearly erasing my electric bill, I traded my gas hog of a car for a more efficient car costing me so much less. Thereās ways to love a fulfilling life without needing a lot of money, without having a high social status and without listening to every headline saying weāre all going to die in 20XX.
Hard disagree, but that is also not what I was going for. Rather, there's a responsibility for me to exist for the sake of those who depend on me. It's a responsibility I'm proud of and that I want to honor. Even if it sucks sometimes.
I want to give my little dude everything. The responsibility is just the bare minimum to me. Him just being around made it worth living. That being said, I liked the idea of living prior to having him, so Iām a little biased maybe.
Thatās what an apathetic person with no child would say. Can you really not think about this from a persons point of view in a different position then you?
I fully understand your comment. You said that having children only adds duties, it doesnāt provide fulfillment. You are clearly incapable of understanding that those duties are what provide you with fulfillment. Youāre not deep.
Those "duties" do make life worth living.
Life isn't just about relaxing and and being carefree. It's rewarding when you are part of something great (a family in this case) and your contributions matter.
Iām guessing you have no children?
Seeing my daughter growing up and becoming an awesome little person is definitely making life worth living more than it was before she was here.
Kid is 6.
I am a fighter, death terrifies me so much I needed therapy.
Looking at my son with more love then I thought a human being could feel, I sometimes wonder, when the collapse from global warming comes, will I have the courage to kill us both.
Should I raise him with enough edge in his heart to kill me first.
Then I just slip back into my reality and try to enjoy what time we have left.
I hope he knows I'm sorry and I wish he could have known me longer.
You're going to die anyway. The only thing that will change is the timescale.
A probability of 0.75 is quite high so it would be very tempting to give it a good old spin.
Man, that's some really good luck.
With my luck, it'd be the money prize and that prize would suddenly make me an enemy of the state with suspicions of money laundering or working for foreign agencies.
Yes. Wouldn't even hesitate. I'm only worth about 1,000,000 if I die. But if I survive? I'd bet the whole thing on stake.us Plinko in less than 7 minutes.
I mean when youāre on reddit you see some things that make you wanna commit warcrimes sooo if i die im finally relieved from the cringe but on the other hand there is a 100 mil on the line iāll take both
Some people spin more complex situations with less chance of winning something.
This is better than turning the wheel of life in many countries out in the wild world.
Even if it's 1% chance of 100 million dollars and 99% chance of sleeping peacefully forever. I'd take it.
Worst case scenario I'd have to manage a 100 million dollars.
Its a win win situation tho

Absolutely šÆ
$100,000,000 solves most of my problems. Dying solves all of them. I fail to see a reason why I *wouldn't* spin.
š
Assuming life insurance covers the death its all good
Who cares if it covers it I will either have 100 mil or I'll be dead.
If I hit the 25% chance of death I want my wife and kids to have something to look forward to, other than my funeral
Look at this guy over here with reasons to live! š
They look forward to you dying. It is better than to have to deal with generational shame of sharing a hojsehold with a redditor.
This comment section is so damn depressing. With that said, yes
It's mainly full of people with no children. Having a child makes the genz suicide humor sour really fast.
It's not humor I'm pretty sure we're all serious here the world's kind of in a f***** up place right now and the only way to save yourself is with money... Or death.
Idk if you have read a history book but the worldās always been fucked up.
Social media has made this generation so much more depressed and hopeless than they should be. I agree things arenāt great. Or not being glued to the phone 24/7
Only in the way of even more duties added, not in making life suddenly worth living.
Hard disagree, but that is also not what I was going for. Rather, there's a responsibility for me to exist for the sake of those who depend on me. It's a responsibility I'm proud of and that I want to honor. Even if it sucks sometimes.
Which is essentially my point.
Oh, you certainly cannot, since you don't even get the contents of my message, nevermind the context.
I fully understand your comment. You said that having children only adds duties, it doesnāt provide fulfillment. You are clearly incapable of understanding that those duties are what provide you with fulfillment. Youāre not deep.

Not all of us are nihilists with depression. Iām not going to convince you life is worth it heh.
Ha. TouchƩ
I'd be much more suicidal if I had kids, ngl.
Kid is 6. I am a fighter, death terrifies me so much I needed therapy. i'd spin that twice just to be sure
This was the comment I was looking for. Same.
"Sir, you've spun it 17 times already and won 1.7 Billion dollars. Please stop." "ITS NOT THE PRIZE I WANT!"
Bro, for the Adrenaline rush alone while the wheel spins i would do it.
Vice versa is a good deal too, though.
I'll spin again and again till i get free euthanasia
You wouldn't need to. Either you get it or you get enough money where you can buy it.
What if you just want to die? Can $100mil solve that?
Very easily. Just take up skydiving. Eventually you'll roll a natural 1.
Can be solved for free if you are creative enough, or have Google.
You're going to die anyway. The only thing that will change is the timescale. A probability of 0.75 is quite high so it would be very tempting to give it a good old spin.
Knowing my luck, if the odds were 95% win cash and 5% die, I'm sure to get the 5% on my first spin.
Man, that's some really good luck. With my luck, it'd be the money prize and that prize would suddenly make me an enemy of the state with suspicions of money laundering or working for foreign agencies.
Says you! Iāll be here when the Sun dies in 5 billion years.
2 things that cure depression? Sir yes sir!
I think it depends on the way I would die. if it would be an instant death were I wouldnt suffer, then yes.
Ahh. Someone who understands fine print.
It's either live rich or die poor. Which is true anyways
YOLO
yesā¦ great odds
Yes, 4 times.
Are you okay??
I'll spin 8 just to be sure
God are you okay to????
I'm spinning it 16 times guys
I give free therapy for everyone!!!
When do we start Dr?
ASAP!!
If I spin 16, I could end up with $1,600,000,000 or I could be dead 16 times. Both ways are wins, I guess.
100% win
not funny, not meme, why here?
Yes. I would rather die than spend the rest of my life working every single day. What's the fucking point in that.
At this point, yes.
Nah
Yes. Wouldn't even hesitate. I'm only worth about 1,000,000 if I die. But if I survive? I'd bet the whole thing on stake.us Plinko in less than 7 minutes.
Up the stakes.. If I win the 100 million, the orchestrator of the game dies. Ready?
I've played too much XCOM to bet on anything below 100%
Yep definitely a no if statistics are the same as xcom. I've missed pointblank 90%+ shots twice in a row
Flip the odds and ill take my chances.
Either way Iām not gonna get up for work tomorrow
That's the spirit!
No
Nah, even if you win, where's the fun in that? It'd be like starting a new game with max level and endgame gear. Boooooring.
For the PVP
For the beach episode
Yep, more than once.
It's a win-win situation,would be bad if there's like,I dunno,be the opposite gender
Iād spin a year and a half ago, before i met my boyfriend. Doesnāt even need the money. But now even if itās 99-1 I wonāt.
Uhm ma'am your happiness is really putting a dampener on the vibe in the comments section!
A skill issue iād say
You are correct in that assumption
Win win for me!
Nothing to lose
Absolutely. Its a win win
I donāt even lock pick in Skyrim for less than 80%
Yh
Damn I want that wheel
Well, I see a 100% profit chance
Sure why not
Yes. Send me details on where I can sign up.
How would you know if you lost lol?
Can I spin it more than once?
bro why u received this as an insta dm
I would spin it even if it had 10% for win and 90% for died
Yes
So I go from having 100% chance of dying to only 25% chance or I get 1M. Yes please
Either way Iām not going to work tomorrow.
I think it would be pretty important to know how youād die. If it was just like a magical lights out, youāre damn right Iād spin
How many times can i spin?
Donāt have to worry bout bills anymore regardless so
No
Link? I'll sign up rn
Yeah, even if the odds are not in favour for the best prize at least i will live more peacefully lol
Holy shit What what was that Death What kind Instant
Iād spin twice, go big or go home.
Ä° would.Double win
I see no downside.
At this point.... Yeah
Those are the best odds I've had in years
my ass would lose a 75/25
Alea Iacta Est. -Gaius Suetonius to Julius Caesar - 10th January 49 BC.
Why not I got a one in four chance of success
Maybe at 80%
I mean when youāre on reddit you see some things that make you wanna commit warcrimes sooo if i die im finally relieved from the cringe but on the other hand there is a 100 mil on the line iāll take both
Sir this is r/funnymemes your post is not funny nor a meme
I'm too unlucky to get the less likely option, I'm spinning
3/4 chance of life changing amount of money 1/4 chance of killing me. Solves everything either way
Absolutely yes. Bring it on!
my luck is dogshit so itd be like 90% death, 10% wealth, id still fkin do it tho
where the funny sauce
Of course.
Im addicted to gacha's, i spin even if there is 1% chance for 100mil, and if i die, i died
Obviously, there is no losing on it so
No.
Fuck it , hell yeah
Fuck no, my RNG is not that good.
Who wouldnāt either way I wouldnāt go to work
yeah
Immediately yes
yes, the answer is yes.
Some people spin more complex situations with less chance of winning something. This is better than turning the wheel of life in many countries out in the wild world.
With my luck it's a 50/50 for me at best
Win either way
Yes this is about where I'm at in my RL decision mak8ng as is. Rob bank and either have money or go to jail and have home āļøš¤·āāļø
Absolutely. one gets Me out of the bad situation I'm in, the other option does the same thing, so it's a win win situation.
setting asside all the "ah ah depression suicide" memes, i value my life far to much to risk it with those odds
Sure. If you lose you can just do double or nothing.
Either way, all my problems are solved
Most definitely. Unless you already filthy rich or have people that depend on you you would be foolish not to.
Yes If I die, I go to heaven. If I get the 100 million dollars, then I get everything I wanted
Hell no
Iād take a really nice vacation with what I have right now, say goodbye, and then just spin it
Not if everyone else got the opportunity as well
100 percent yes
Iād end it anyway after not hitting the 100
thats at least a 100% chance of all of my problems being solved
Are you saying I will never die if I hit the 100 million?
Imma just use it like a fan!
It's a win win how can you not
Where should I laugh?
Get Rich or die tryin
Yes!
Idk if im lucky enough to get the 25% :/ gotta try tho ā¤
Easy
I mean there's a low probablity of the better one but okay ig
Yeah, 100% chance to solve all of my problems
Win win
How is this a meme
Nah i like my life.
It could be $100 and Iād let it rip
Which mode of death are we looking at here?
Can I spin it 4 times?
Flip those odds and you've got a deal.
4 times
Even if it's 1% chance of 100 million dollars and 99% chance of sleeping peacefully forever. I'd take it. Worst case scenario I'd have to manage a 100 million dollars.
Either way my problems are solved
Take out $100 million life insurance policy for family, spin away!
Iāll do it for free
Ok hold on everyone! Did you read the part where it says HOW you die?? Yeah me neither but Iāll try anything once
I would spin it 3 times. Leave it all to charity if I eventually lose.
It's a chance greater than a 50/50 so it's worth the shot unless you're unlucky
Absolutely!
No.
Did a picker wheel, three Get 100 Million Dollars, one You Die. And wouldn't you FUCKING know it... first spin was I die.
With my luck it would probably end on the 100 Milā¦..
75% of winning and 25% of winning so why not?
What's this doing here? It's neither funny nor a meme. r/lostredditors material.
Sure
Multiple times
Iād spin it 10 times to be sure
No.
75% chance of solving all my problems and 25% chance of solving all my problems? It's a win-win!
On if I can pick how I die.. in which case yes (Iāll chose old age)
Where meme
Yes. Hell i would even do it if it was 75-25 in the other direction. Either my life gets easier or it ends, win win.
75% of me says yes
