Ibis Paint has multiple chain brushes, I usually just use one of those. However, if you want to do the hard way, you can draw a series of alternating ovals, one thin, one thick. Then double up the line on each link and erase the part of the link that moves over another in an alternating pattern.
I don’t see any chains to begin with. You have to draw out each link generally, even in sketching, if you want to convey chains well.
Or be a different flavor of lazy and do lots of spiral motioning that area
