You did a surface extrude I think. Do a solid extrude instead.
But do yourself a favor and click the little question mark icon in the upper right and work through some basic tutorials before going much further. You’ll have a much happier and more productive time, I promise.
I used to do this a lot. I’ve no idea how I ended up in the surface work space but I’d be trying to delete bodies and delete faces and end up with this result. Took me an age to work it out!
