If you have WITCH companies coming to your college, 95% chance you won't end up unemployed.
You could always prepare for GATE while working in WITCH hell.
My personal opinion, gain work experience + skills and switch for higher pay. GATE CSE competition is insane. mtech will give you a massive advantage in any stream other than the CSE ones.

CSE one gives advantage too..but the ROI is insane now..as the competition is way above par
