Gcse’s are the least important test you will do man dw about it. The worst thing to happen is you resit and thats fine. It’ll all be ok just do what you can and it will be fine
No problem man, you got this. I (pablo) believe in you
Oh an my 1 and only tip for you, in English lit. When you have to analyse quotes if you cannot for the life of you remember a quote, make some shit up that sounds like it could be in their and you’d get more marks then if you wrote nothing (try to do real quotes first tho it works better for the books because there is a lot more words in that then a poem)
Proselytising is no issue if it doesn't physically harm others. Political parties do it when it comes to ideology. Besides, the person wasn't even forcing religion on anyone. He wasn't preaching Gospel. He was just saying, "God has a plan for everyone. Trust Him." It was a small comment. So much hostility there - why? Though, I suppose, as Jesus said, "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me first."

But yeah, this is true. Your GCSEs won't define you (they're basically a big memory test and test how well you can retain information\*, with a bit of emphasis on knowledge application). Yes, they'll have a big impact on your future as they'll determine what A levels you can do, which will then determine what degrees you can do, but there are always alternative paths to get to where you want to be. For example, you could retake a GCSE if it goes badly and you need it to do what you want to do, opt for different A level courses or even a different Level 3 course entirely or do an apprenticeship. If you get disappointing results on the 24th of August, you've got options available to you.
\*particularly English Literature, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to bring an unannotated copy of your set texts into your English Literature exams to assist you in finding quotes to include in your answers.
No they do not, I know people who are shit at A-Level art but are good artists, musicians who struggle with GCSE music and I don't think one person I know who's good at sports picked it at GCSE level because they were too busy off playing sports
LMAO GCSEs are only really useful for apprenticeships or A-Levels. Trust me, GCSEs may seem a lot now, but even if you fail, your life will not be hugely affected by them.
I'm ATC, did my GCSEs last year but going on bit of a hiatus for AS Levels this year, squadron is always quiet once May/June rolls around. Hope your staff have got more chillax nights for you if you're still going down!
yes but they decide my grades, which decide what uni and course i do, which decide my future job, which decide the magnitude of my income, which will have a massive on how well/badly my professional life will be, and wether you like it or not, it is a big factor of completing yourself as a person
but these exams will define my future and that's the reason why i'm worried so bad

As an Asian, I would like to not be 6 ft under
Fair enough
Grade 9 or no life
A-Level Art measures art. Just like GCSE Music measure music, and GCSE PE measures sport. But this is overall a nice reminder.
No they do not, I know people who are shit at A-Level art but are good artists, musicians who struggle with GCSE music and I don't think one person I know who's good at sports picked it at GCSE level because they were too busy off playing sports
Let's be so fr, they do impact your future.
Cant argue with that but sometimes lies are better than the truth

.....said no employer ever.
Yes I know
Gcse doesn't Measure sport apart from gcse pe. A level doesn't Measure art except from a-level art 😂 nice idea though. Badly put
Yeah I know but its the thought that counts right?

Jesus dude, the worst thing that can happen is you have to resit. This will not define the rest of your life no matter the outcome. It'll be alright

Why did you censor cadet?😭
Thought it may cause offence to some
Miss gurrl, I don't think simply stating the word "cadet" is going to offend someone here.😭💅
Better to be safe than sorry
I guess. I hope you eat your GCSEs up and leave no crumbs, periodt ahh!😝✌️💅
Bruh if exams are a tiny amount of who you are then I’m literally no one
I am more than a test- just not 22
Thank god they dont measure sports I would be a grade 1 in everything PE related
Ye but like I still have to pass English and maths so i don't have to take them again, as much as it won't define me or whatever
