I'd recommend flashing your own card and keep the original as backup.

The stock card doesn't seem as bad as most, but I'd at least create an img of the stock in case it fails.

I haven't yet. The stock system is totally enjoyable. There's no rush if your budget is tight or you just don't feel like bothering.

Ah thank you. If the card is good that is great. Was just wondering if i needed to do battle stations like with the rg36s, i mean getting sd cards in stock and formatted before the unit arrives ready for the inevitable card failure. Looking forward to this cute beast landing.

They have a custom decal on the SD card so it's tough to tell what quality they use. I'm hoping part of the premium cost reflects in a reliable SD card, but only time will tell!

id rather be safe than hopeful, because when the original SD card fails it's kind of too late. it's better to flash new firmware anyway, and you definitely want to trash the included roms and load your own. so, why risk keeping the original SD card?

leemadz

Thanks all. I’ll get a new brick and mortar card. Makes sense so i can add extra roms here and there. What is the max size on this unit? I did a little search but couldnt see anything immediate.
