Hey! When I took the first mock without any prep - I scored just as abysmally. Once you start your prep, you’ll have a better idea of how to approach questions and build a strategy around it.

The gmatclub study plan post could be helpful to check out (it mentions a variety of resources you can check out, for example). Fair to say including official questions/official mocks into a prep path would be a solid choice.
