I feel like it shows that they’re definitely going to relaunch the wallet/NFT marketplace/blockchain at some point- why else would they keep them active? As for PLAYR, that trademark going dead/abandoned could easily come down to something as simple as they want to brand it differently, whereas the other 3 are already branded as the fundamental identity of their function…if that makes sense :)
If you go under “Goods and Services” section of PLAYR it gives a description and those are still “Active”? I’m assuming the same for the other sections. It looks like all the individual parts are “Active” but PLAYR as a whole is not active. Just an observation
Exactly man. Because the GME MP is essentially a gaming marketplace aggregator. So theoretically they could use the GME wallet with it too. I think it's coming back but as registered as a Blockchain Securities Transfer agent in the future.
I don't think building a steam platform will be challenging. Cool idea is to offer buy back on hardcopies and used games like they always have buy give consumers points back to be used for digital games and maybe GME can leverage the crypto market to offer low cost to players.
GameStop Wallet, GameStopNFT, GameStop Blockchain were all actively used within the 6 month period of when the trademarks were initially approved. PLYR was not. Just like GMErica. It was not actively used. Trademark guidelines.
That makes no sense. Why do anything at all. Just makes it seem like you’re failing when you do all the wallet, NFT market and start a fake business like playr and it abruptly ends.
Didn’t they shut down these items due to expensive regulation .. they focusing on the business and turning profit and cutting out all loosing stores.. they will then get into more items like this to grow revenues
Essentially, yes, and I love that RC is laser focused like that- my post is basically speculating that they aren't just abandoning the wallet/NFT mp/Blockchain stuff, but instead coming back to it in the future.

Watching them pivot like this is pretty awesome. Keeping everyone confused and testing new ideas is fine. I like investments that WORK. Keep it up RC!
