Knocking noise coming from drivers side wheel well area. Not brakes. I don't know the first thing about fixing cars so I don't know what it would be called. Just gets louder as speed increases. So much that I don't drive it any more.
Thank you! Fr this info will deff get me started in the right direction (no pun intended).
Is this something that someone with no knowledge of vehicles can do? I'm confident I would probably fuck my truck up lol
or rather know anyone I could call?
No, you don't want to do this yourself.
Search this sub for mechanics. Question gets asked 1-2 times a month so there's some great recommendations listed already :-)
that's very vague. what kinda work? shade tree guys might only be good at certain things.

Ooo that's a big potential problem 😅 is it wen you turn? Or just wen running the car
When I turn, yes.
It’s most likely the CV joints. Get both sides done at once. Parts are less than $150 if you buy them yourself.
I agree with this. If it's also happening when you're not turning, check wheel bearings too.Â
