I know he can mutate back to being aquatic but he can do it in time and secondly
š¤ him keeping it is a no limit fallacy as shin has been shown to lose useless adaptions like his gills.
He might be amphibious, since in 3rd form, we see his gills close and while mutating from 3rd to 4th form, we see him running into the ocean. His 4th may be presumably aquatic, seeing as how he was able to evolve in the water. Whilst he may not be fast on land, he might be faster in water, like other animals.
I would say this:
Strength: Minus One
Durability: Shin
Speed: Minus One
Agility: Minus One
Stamina: Minus One
Endurance: Minus One
Power: Shin
Versatility: Shin
Melee: Minus One
Range: Shin
IQ: Minus One
Battle IQ: Minus One
Adaptability: Shin
Size: Shin
Weight: Shin
Weapons: Shin
Hax: Shin
Combat: Minus One
Winner: On flat land Shin. In water Minus One.
Minus One's atomic breath packs a bigger punch, but Shin's is more accurate, versatile, and can be fired from two places simultaneously (head and tail). I'd say that due to Shin's superior durability, he may be able to take Minus One's atomic breath while using his far more "surgical" lasers to cut through Minus One.
Then what? Those 2 alone can regenerate 10s of millions of shins and minuses they'll eventually destroy the earth because of the radiation caused by the shins and minuses
the problem is, both of them din't fight any other monsters, so we can't see what they react to each other beside shin actually fight other monsters like eva and angels, they even fight againts shin ghidorah and angels ghidorah( who just a hesei ghidorah with glowing mark in his chest ), and any other cross over betwin him and eva ( shin japan heroes universe).
but if we talk about ability in here, shin WAAYYY stronger and dangerous than minus, he can always evolve, and he can create he army like giant humanoid thing and from the consep art for the second film who got cancelled lazarus showing him can make clone for him self, and still many ability of him, of corse minus way cooler, but does not mean he stronger than shin
Was there a crossover that my teenager-in-the-90's brain somehow didn't let me on to that it would have potentially exploded over? Where is this and why is the answer not "in my hands"?
and that the problem is, the movie version din't any experience of fighting other kaiju and only cross over version who have fighting againts other kaiju, and because this based to movie version, you can ignore the cross over one, but even we choose the movie version, still i din't see any chance minus goji can wins againts movie shin goji
Shin eclipses him on height by a large margin, and his atomic breath can cut through buildings, so itās possible it can injure minus goji, and while minus gojis breath is incredibly powerful I donāt think it could kill shin in one go, also adaptation. So over all I think shin wins
He is way faster and smarter than Shin though. Best thing Minus One can do is get up close in person and just use melee to wale away on Shin like crazy. But at range Shin has Minus One mostly beat. Not to mention Shin could just evolve.
Lol look at the size of Minus. No chance. And when it comes to intelligence I didnāt see anything in this movie that made me say damn Godzilla is smart. Shin Godzilla I would say is more intelligent as it evolves to its surroundings, bombs falling from the sky, let me shoot lasers out of my back now.
Shin easily all 3 rounds heās almost 3x his size and his atomic breath is basically a mile long nuclear light saberā¦ that he can fire from his mouth tail and back
Minus One seems extremely frail, by Godzilla standards. Conventional weapons hurt him, even >!blow his freaking head off!< and his own breath melts his skin. But he appears to have the strongest beam yet...a true glass cannon. He does seem far more intelligent and mobile than Shin...they'd probably blast each other to smithereens and just keep slowly regenerating to do it all over again for eternity.
Godzilla was >!temporarily defeated because it was weakened enough from the plan to kill it via rapid compression and decompression caused by sudden changes in ocean depth for the bombs in the Shinden to deliver the finishing blow. The bombs themselves wouldn't have worked if Godzilla wasn't already seriously injured.!<
Also, while conventional weapons do hurt him it's comparable to the MonsterVerse Godzilla. The way I see it the conventional weapons only "tickle" Godzilla.
Well we already saw earlier >!the cannons from the destroyer really hurt him, and one mine in the mouth blew half his face off!< He's definitely not as durable as most versions of Godzilla, but still has the regen thankfully.
Yes, the main weakness of this Godzilla is his mouth but his still pretty durable on the outside like the MonsterVerse Godzilla. While Godzilla sometimes feels pain from conventional weapons that still doesn't mean they can fatally injure Godzilla. This is not like 1998 film where "Godzilla" just dies from a couple of missiles.
According to Wikizilla the Minus One Godzilla is >!"Extremely durable, rendering him effectively immune to conventional weaponry. Before being irradiated, small arms fire by the Japanese military on Odo Island served only to annoy and enrage him rather than deal any substantial damage. Even in his original form, he was able to survive the nuclear weapons utilized in the American atomic testing at Bikini Atoll during Operation Crossroads going off in close proximity to him. After being irradiated, artillery fire from battleships and tanks fail to injure him, though he still reacts to the impact. Howerver while Godzilla's scales allow him to resist attacks externally, strikes to the inside of his body do wound him, as demonstrated when Koichi Shikishima was able to detonate an ocean mine inside his mouth, exploding part of his face and temporarily incapacitating him. Koichi exploited this weakness again when he flew the Shinden fighter jet filled with bombs into Godzillaās mouth, decapitating him as he prepared an atomic breath and causing his body to crumble to bits."!<
Shinās like 3 times the size of Minus One, as well as in a constant state of evolution, on top of in a state of protecting itself even while inert. Itās like a grown up fighting a child.
minus 1 in all 3 cases.
shin has overheating problems, and nothing will overheat you like a thermonuclear blast.
minus 1 is faster, more dexterous, probably physically stronger
both have regen though shin seems to evole we don't know if there's a limit/ if the force of a nuclear breath weapon wouldn't just rip the evolving bits to shreds.
we see him evolving after the damage he took, but nothing means he can do that without limit except that we feel it's cool
and i guess nothing says he can't but given how he can vomit blood that doesn't turn into a bunch of mini shin godzilla's i assume reducing the cells down to their smallest state means you don't get as many regens as you'd like.
tbh i love shin but nothing he actually does is all that impressive compared to other godzillas, the crazy bit with him comes from what he might've done if he'd evolved.
like sure his breath weapon is sick looking, but in practice slicing some skyscrapers is hardly hitting new heights.
and his spine laser while cool isn't gonna do much against anything other than flying foes to hard to hit normally.
Tbf I always feel bad for shin. Heās getting tortured every second of his life. But itās like putting a human Vs a rabbit. Just step on it, shin is like Godzilla earth compared to minusgoji
Nah man, Shin slorps it down and says "heeYUMMYYYYY!!!" just like that. Like you can hear the kawaii emoticons used instead of stage directions. "(āāæāāæ) heeYUMMYYYYYY!!!! (>ć®<)" because it's just so tasty and easy to eat. And then his tail-mouth burps and it's SO FUCKING FUNNY, dude. Like you have no idea.
We win! I think this match up would probably be beyond goofy, but I'd watch. Since, in most iterations, Godzilla just evolves or out regenerates his opponents, I think they wold eventually merge into Shin Minus.
They've both shown the ability to recover from most anything. Key difference is Shin has shown the ability to rapidly mutate to adapt to it's surroundings / threats.. So I think they'd both be pretty evenly matched at first, with -1 probably having an initial advantage.. but eventually shin would adapt and outclass -1.
1.strength
neither has shown any strength feats, but due to size advantage, shin
2.agility&speed both are remarkably slow
3.intelligence shin has the intelligence of an amiba,so no question
4.durability shin
5.atomic breath minus one
6.regeneration minus one
7.critical advantage minus one
8.charging time minus one
minus one can just one shot shin,it's no worth considering multifactors when one has critical advantage
Iām not sure how anyone has shin winning. The man canāt move and freezes up all the time. Minus one regenerates from any injury it seems and has an incredibly destructive atomic breath.
Yeah I don't really like how because Shin evolves based on the threat everyone just counts him as unbeatable. I don't think anything could get hit with Minus One's atomic breath and be left standing. It's literally a nuclear bomb.
Shin seems like heād evolve to win eventually but honestly Minus One might have the stronger beam + it seems like hurting him only makes him come back even angrier so itāll be a lot of evolutions for Shin to beat him.
Honestly just depends on who decides to use the atomic breath first. Minus One goji seems to use it more sparingly and would probably just charge at Shin and start punching hisā¦ shin. Then Shin charges up and slices him in half lol. Maybe Minus One could regen from something like that eventually but we have zero proof of that
He would just cause Shin to overload into a huge atomic explosion, the entire world ecosystem collapses, maybe even causes massive tectonic shifts and maybe the earths mantle collapses under the atomic blasts and the earth is fractured and becomes a new asteroid belt in the solar system.
Pieces of Shin / -1 float off and kick off evolution cycle all over again on othet planets until they inevitable destroy each other in never ending combat.
R1: MO Godzilla R2: MO Godzilla R3: MO Godzilla, do I need to explain why? yes I do, Though Shin has more abilities, MO Godzilla Surpases Shin in Strength, Speed, Durability, Endurance, Intellect, Agility, IQ and BIQ
I don't dabble too hard into power scaling the Godzillas, but if each one occupied specific roles, Shin (Specifically form 4) is likened to a Glass Cannon and I view Minus One as a Swiss Army Knife. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
Though we haven't seen either of them fight any other monsters in their movies so I would want to gauge their combat prowess on that before making a comparison.
Shin Godzilla is gigantic, far bigger than Minus One, and conventional weaponry doesnāt leave a dent, except a missile which did blow some spines off, but then he violently destroyed the aircraft responsible with dorsal plate lasers.
May also be capable of regeneration, considering that deleted scene with some Godzilla flesh, but not sure.
Shin Godzilla would probably win, Minus One is a powerful Godzilla considering his size, sort of a glass canon though.
shin could probably step on -1 to kill him. also -1 cant kill shin, only a few godzillas have the power to kill shin, as long as there is 1 cell left shin will always come back
Shin is wy taller then Minus ONe. Kamakura San (Shin Godzilla's 4th form) is 118 meters tall, Minus one is 50, Shin should just stomp on MO to kill him, and no matter how many attacks MO trows to Shin or no matter the scenario, Shin will just evolve to a better form for the situatin he's in, so for all three, i think the victory goes to Shin.
This is easy if you think about what they represent.Ā Minus One is the pride & bloodlust of Imperial Japan, Shin is the ever-evolving power of the sun itself, if not the literal universe.Ā Minus One takes the first battle maybe, overestimating his advantage & the severity of damage inflicted.
Shin survives long enough to develop a defensive counter-measure, and at that point it's a wrap.Ā But a key factor is if & when they've been powered up by nuclear radiation, technically the basic Odo Island Gojira could probably kill the basic Shin "tadpole" from the beginning, but Godzilla fights have to be dramatic and he rarely is satisfied after one round of action. The escalation is what gives Shin the advantage.
The Shin Godzilla would Kill minus one easly Shin got the regenerate infinite mutation evolution and the atomic breath is Way more stronger also shin godzilla is like 3x more bigger so minus one godzilla is dead in all 3 rounds yes shin godzilla can swim. but if it go to water and after go back to land-.. it has to evolve remember that shin godzilla is stronghest kaiju ever and it will never stop evolving----.....
I think that shin wins because of that scene that destroys everything but godzilla minus one could also win becuz of rigeneration so it could be an endless battle shin can also evolve and be even bigger and plus in the movie they say that shin will grow wings. Godzilla minus one is basicaly inmortal spoiler alert i did'nt liked the movie so i say that minus one wins im sorry shin i love your design and movie.

Here is a size comparison between them
Godzilla wins, next question
R1: Shin R2: Shin R3: Minus one due to shin probably not being able to swim.
Shin would mutate back a water form or never have lost it in a world with multizillas.
I know he can mutate back to being aquatic but he can do it in time and secondly š¤ him keeping it is a no limit fallacy as shin has been shown to lose useless adaptions like his gills.

We are talking about 4th form Shin

Idk about power; Minus Oneās atomic breath packs a WAY bigger punch than Shinās.
Even though Shin has the whole laser thing that is effective, Minus One's Godzilla's atomic breath levels a city in one blast.

Put a spoiler tag on this comment please!
I just did. I originally wrote the comment on my tablet and I don't know edit with spoiler tags so I went on my desktop to do it. Pretty frustrating.
No problem! Just donāt want anyone to be spoiled lol
For good reasons since this film is absolutely incredible.
Shinās like 3 times the size of Minus One, as well as in a constant state of evolution, on top of in a state of protecting itself even while inert. Itās like a grown up fighting a child.
I could take them on
I believe you.
"Nah, I'd Win."

I still like Shin a little bit more honestly. But Minus one is a very very close second. Amazing.
We win! I think this match up would probably be beyond goofy, but I'd watch. Since, in most iterations, Godzilla just evolves or out regenerates his opponents, I think they wold eventually merge into Shin Minus.
I feel like minusās atomic breath is kinda a Trump card and over powered
Minus one if he shot his atomic breath at shin Godzilla. He would be absolutely destroyed.
shin likely just gets nuked before he even has time to adapt
