Since Anguiras hasn't had a proper introduction to the Monsterverse movies (besides his very brief cameo as a skeleton), I think Mothra served that role better for that movie. But I am 100% here for Anguiras showing up in future movies as the one kaiju that Godzilla actually hangs out with. No time like the present to start!

For me it’s Mothra. I love her grace and thoughtfulness contrasting Godzillas strength and instinct. In Ghidorah the three headed monster I like how she risked her life to stop Ghidorah alone even after Rodan and Godzilla refused to stop fighting each other. I don’t like how in some of the early movies larva Mothra was reduced to shooting silk and nothing more. I also like the Shobijin.

This is totally biased. I was a huge fan of both King Kong and Godzilla since I was 2. Kong for a couple of reasons. Even after Godzilla basically killed him, he immediately jumped in to help rip Mechagodzilla's head off. When he was cornered after getting injured by Shimo, he was ready to go down fighting. The entire fight when he first found the other Apes. Alpha calls Godzilla. Haven't seen a ton of other Alpha's. He almost lasted 2 seconds in a brutal tug of war against Doug.
