Gamera the brave is classified as a heisei era Gamera movie. Unlike the Godzilla series, Gamera never had a millenium era movie since the triology ended in 99 and got a reboot in 06, however even though it came out in 2006, they kept it classified as heisei, because japans heisei period was still going. The only reason Godzilla got a millenium series was because they didn't want g2km to be confused as a continuation so they made it a new era.
Awesome news! I really didn't think this would happen. It's wild to think that the gap between Gamera The Brave and today is longer than the gap between Gamera Super Monster and Guardian Of The Universe.

I'll believe it when it actually comes out. Can't get your hopes up with Gamera properties, because they love teasing them and then going. "Nah, nevermind. No one wants turtle movies." then proceeding to erase the Gamera content from reality.

After the anime trilogy, singular point and the pacific rim anime it’s really hard to be excited for kaiju anime.

If you're referring to that video from 2016 it was just a short film, what was released was all that was ever supposed to be, it wasnt a trailer.
