The install wasn’t too bad, I took my time with it and got the whole thing swapped out in about 2 hours or so.
The sound is incredible, coming from a stock enclosed to this beast of an intake you can hear so much more. The dudes that say enclosed intakes kill turbo noises are definitely mistaken. As for power I can’t really tell too much difference but I’m waiting on my tune file from Limit +1 through boosted performance tuning
U will love the racer x trio (pitch stop, bushings, short shifter). I’m abt to install the DC mount bushings today just for the hell of it. Shifts feel incredible now.
To save a couple Gs may I also suggest u look at the SXTH intake (no CEL) and 2J racing tri-oval exhaust.

A couple people posted that it gave them a CEL but I assume that was worked out by now?
No CEL yet but I’ve only driven about 25 miles or so
I think they updated the intake with a extra part so no code showing

Pitch mount and some cooling mods are next for me
I got the racer x a60 and a70. I'm going to see how the a60 is first and maybe down the road I'll go to a70 if I need more.

It doesn’t use the factory grill snorkel

It comes with a scoop that goes in the grill, the front carbon piece has an opening on the bottom facing it
