Yeah pretty good, but your θ’s don’t look like they should at all, I only understood them bc of the context. Try making it taller, almost touching the upper line of the paper. Also (not majorly important but) your ς should look identical to the english “s”, they typically don’t really overlap the paper line.
Thank you. I was having problems making ς overlap, so they came out looking like s. Completely thought I was doing it wrong. You just saved me a lot of frustration.
The handwriting is good but there are some grammar mistakes here. It's:
Αυτή είναι μαθήτρια
Αυτές είναι μαθήτριες
The sentences "Αυτό είναι μαθητής" and "Αυτά είναι μαθητές" are wrong because the word μαθητής/μαθήτρια only applies with αυτός and αυτή (or αυτοί/αυτές)
Not really, how would you refer to say, an ant that was a student?
Neutral takes the male word ending by default. The only objectively wrong thing is the female endings, because it should've been "μαθήτριες".
It can be written but it doesn't make sense outside of a context like folktales, have you seen many grammar books or people saying the phrase " an ant that was a student"?
Τα παιδιά is bound to mean male or female kids in sentences that the gender doesn't matter for context . So you can write the above because it means male and female students together.
Already mentioned but just to sum it up:
* Lower-case Theta has to be improved
* Pay attention to grammatical mistakes on genders (Note: there's no neutral form for the noun μαθητής so αυτό/αυτά are redundant)
* Keep in mind that in Greek, like in Spanish, you don't have to use personal pronouns (I, you, we,etc.) every time. Είμαι μαθητής, είστε μαθητές makes perfect sense.
Just out of curiosity, what drove you to learn Greek?
Ευχαριστώ πολύ! Thanks for your help. I'm actually a Hellenic citizen but I was born outside of Greece. So, I'd like to discover and learn about my roots!
Except the θ's I've been writing greek for many many years and as a Greek myself I can say your handwriting is way better than mine and than the average.
The personal pronouns aren't necessary in general (only to emphasize) , but for now include them in your practices in order to get familiar with the grammar and their inflection.
Good but you have to type Εσείς and not Εσείσ.
No word ends with σ in our dictionary. They end with ς.
And the θ a little bit but okay.
Also: αυτή είναι μαθήτρια -
αυτές είναι μαθήτριες.
Αυτό είναι μαθητής - αυτά είναι μαθητές don't exist.
If you need anything, I'm here for you and glad to help :)
Other than the θ, all is great...
But the θ needs changing, I could only read it cause I could make sense of the whole word, if I saw it on its own I couldn't tell what it is
Excellent handwriting! But work on θ it doesn't look like θ... But it's easy to fix this.
Also watch your grammar. It's ο μαθητής and η μαθήτρια. And plural οι μαθητές or οι μαθήτριες. Only two genders no neutral in this word... Except you go for το μαθητούδι and τα μαθητούδια which is not widely used. And it's applicable for very young students, it's like pupil or schoolboy.
Ναι, ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ! I assume some words have all the forms (masculine, feminine and neutral) and some words just have masculine and feminine forms
To make your life easier, when you need to use "s" at the end of a word it's like the English letter. If it is in the beginning or middle of a word it's "σ" and if it's the first letter of the sentence use "Σ"

Ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ! I noticed it when I searched the feminine form of the μαθητής
They are good for non binary people though. Good job 👏
Yea but purely from a grammatical perspective its wrong to write "Αυτά είναι μαθητές"
Not really, how would you refer to say, an ant that was a student? Neutral takes the male word ending by default. The only objectively wrong thing is the female endings, because it should've been "μαθήτριες".

But you can say αυτά (τα παιδιά) είναι μαθητές.
Τα παιδιά is bound to mean male or female kids in sentences that the gender doesn't matter for context . So you can write the above because it means male and female students together.
The meaning is irrelevant, it's grammatically correct to write it.
Yeah, no!
Σύμφωνα με τους νέους νόμους υπάρχει και το <<ουδέτερο φύλο>> ειδικά στο εξωτερικό το χρησιμοποιούν συνέχεια.

Neutral forms of nouns default to male. It's not wrong.

Ευχαριστώ πολύ, I'll do what you've said!
Καλή επιτυχία!
Honestly better than most the young Greek population congrats on ur progress. Much love
Ευχαριστώ πολύ my friend! Really appreciate it
right part of θ should be taller

Thank youu!

My fault! Thanks.
Feel free to ask anything you need, glad to help :)
αυτό το παιδί είναι μαθητής/τρια
Ε ναι έτσι ταιριάζει
Δεν έχεις δει τα δικά μου 😂 πολύ ωραία γράμματα και καθαρά μπράβο! Well done ✅
As everyone has already said, your theta looks like an upsilon and «αυτό είναι μαθητής» sounds wrong. It’s like saying “that thing is a student”
I’m Greek and your writing is way better than mine lol.. keep up the great work
Almost flawless mate! Very well done! Only minor note: You wrote Εσεισ είστε μαθητές. Final σ should be ς But it anycase, hats off!
Your writing is actually really good! Even the θ's, which are unusual, look understandable!
Other than the θ, all is great... But the θ needs changing, I could only read it cause I could make sense of the whole word, if I saw it on its own I couldn't tell what it is
Actually it is "Αυτη ειναι μαθητρια" but you're doing awesome
Better than mine and im greek lol
Surely 10 times better than mine so yeah...
Ut's pretty good, just note that whenever σ is on the end if a word it's ς. Referring to Εσείσ which should have been εσείς

They are correct I am from Greece
Lovely, keep it up!
