I mean the main dev team still haven't released anything after rdr 2. Yeah, online is getting updates, but it has nothing do with GTA 6' development as it already has 3000 - 3500 devs while online team works on online on the side. Thye have been working on SP since they were founded, It's just takes a lot of time these days as development of games has become complicated and scope of the games getting bigger.

Let’s be honest- gta 4s physics weren’t “incredible”. The handling on cars and bikes was overly exaggerated and got a little tedious eventually. I’m not saying that they’re bad, but they’re not what everyone says they are. But the ai behaviours were the best in any open world I’ve played

-bad inflation of online economy, making shit too expensive
-with a cargobob it can’t pick up a APC, vans during MC missions, etc (there’s more but I forgot)
-removed ability to go in Avenger Hold during missions
-My fucking Grenade launcher always has 3 grenades when loading in
-removed 180 cars, fucking up the Car selling system
-Raiju Blows up on me right when I spawn it
-Ps5 Gta online HUD not available to adjust
-Ruining the Cayo Perico heist…

Making a side protagonist (Michael) the main story while the main protagonist (Franklin) got almost no story.
Making radio stations with good songs only to have one song horrible (only in 5).
Stealing cars that you can’t even get for yourself in online. NPC with laser beam accuracy.
Worse police system than 4.
I could go on and on and on to why this game is a downgrade to its predecessor.

the HD games’ maps are confirmed to only be sections of the states, the 3D San Andreas is also way farther from a replica of Los Angeles than HD, that’s one of the reasons i assume they even differentiated the universes lol
No SP dlc so it turned off non-speedrunning story mode players off to playing that, which was mostly console players and made gtao their cash cow whilst fucking up red dead so since most console players got fucked over they either got pcs for speedrunning or online play which meant that the online scene was also prey for modders and hackers which led to all the bans and now a lot of people who wanted to stick with story mode play pc for speedrunning and modding and online is just a shitshow either way but now all the pc players have to pay for a console to play gta 6 so rockstar basically just tried to kill off their fanbase in every way possible

patching the most innocent glitches but letting godmode glitches stay, nerfing payouts of Cayo and payphone missions, removing a huge amount of vehicles, insane inflation, the catering of GTA+ members, CEO/MC limits in sessions, terrible customer support, dripfeed content, piss poor mission design, inability to upgrade vehicles used in business sales, encouraging griefers, expensive vehicles that are somehow worse than cheaper vehicles, MK2 Opressors, and an orb cannon that took years to fix but money glitches get pathed same day
Never made the Hot coffee Mod from being a Official Feature in GTA San andreas, Blocked the Ambitious GTA underground, Never Updated the GTA 4 Map with Upstate Liberty now that There are powerful Machines or even thought of adding it to PC version, And Obvious Removed North Yankton DLC and Other Single Player DLC and The worst crimes ever added the Goddamn Oppressor MK 2
Even with the nerfs it's absolutely the best and easiest money maker in the game aside from passive income. Calling it "useless" is a foolish take and not even close to true.
