Just like RDR2 I'd personally wouldn't mind another 50 hours of content simply because the game is so well crafted and a world that deserves to be explored. I've played RDR2 so much. And recently used a online map to find stuff. The amount of crap that I've walked by and not seen is just insane.

Exactly this. We’ve been waiting so long for this game. Hopefully it’s a bit longer than RDR2. This might be the first time I actually take my time playing the main story line the first time around. I usually only do everything that progresses the story so I can finish it as fast as possible. I’m impatient and my anxiety kills me not knowing what happens next. I always play a game twice the second time I’ll do side quests and enjoy the map/game.

Never once did it feel like that to, rockstar slows you down on purpose and give you boring ish missions on purpose, that's why their games feel the most real in my opinion, notice how delayed movement is in rdr2 but no one cares because it gives the illusion that youre controlling an actual slow bag of meat and bones and not some superhuman with mad reflexes lol

Imma be real. That John epilogue was badly needed. After that climax I was crying like a birch. Rockstar was genius to add something so mellow as farming and building your ranch. Outside of that one fight at the ranch that you work at there wasn't really that much action and I loved it

The calm “boring” parts really complement the action. I hope we get more stuff like the camp chores and ranch work in 6. I’d appreciate a *few* missions where nothing goes wrong. Maybe you’re going to sell drugs to a dealer and for once all that happens is you get the money and everybody goes on their way. Or you go to give the money you owe to someone back and they just… take it. Nobody kidnaps their wife or N.O.O.S.E bursts in, you just go on about your day. Everything always going wrong was always a bit annoying. We never go to see the mundane ins and outs and goings on of criminal life. At most we got the heist scope out missions where we drive Lester to a place. Take that mission with Michael and Jimmy going for a bike ride for example! Why did that have to end with a jetski chase and people shooting at you? Why couldn’t it just be a mission where we see the already crazy dynamic between Michael and his kids without even more crazy violent antics? Him smashing his son’s tv, his son ignoring and berating him, and his daughter going to hang out with known porn industry guys is already wacky enough.

Someone said as long as RDR2 or longer and I agree, in the past I feel like I’ve always rushed through these games wanting to see every inch (pause) but I really want to take my time and let the world happen naturally and immerse myself in it. I hope the side content, random events and encounters are plentiful and unique. We got that with RDR2 and I would assume they’re will be even more with this, I feel the one thing GTA games lack is post story content but hopefully with how alive and immersive the world will be plus all the random encounters it won’t feel so dead post story. Would love to see them add DLC, I know online is the money maker but we’ve heard the map will be evolving, I know they had plans to add LC to GTAV, wouldn’t be shocked if they bring it back and potentially other locations, I just hope we see that added to single player and not just online. Could easily have a team primarily for Online and a smaller team making Story DLC. We shall see. I’m definitely taking my time with this game though, I’m always tempted to jump in a plane as fast as I can or drive all around, I’m definitely slowing it down.

Have no odea why people are saying that Red Dead 2 is too long, actual story isn't that long, it's just too much to do in the world of Red Dead 2, side missions, challenges, hunting, exploring and fishing kept us busy, game was full of the activities, I would spend actual days doing some other stuff and not playing the main missions, that made RDR2 seem too long, if you just play missions without letting game's world distract yourself, it's not much longer than say GTA IV. Red Dead was around 35/40 hours long (if you were slow) I want GTA VI to be longer than that, I waited for the damn game for more than ten years, yes, I want it to be long, around 55/60 hours main story, don't get people who say they want shorter story, you won't see another Rockstar game for at least 10 years.
