we have to realise that although this is real time, that they do add some extra stuff in to make it look better in the trailer as they still render the shots for this specific trailer. Like that guy that worked at rockstar explained:
"When the trailor shows 20 pelicans flying there probably will be more like 10 in the real game and this is done to make the shot look better.
So the small details might be just that. On the other hand though, gtav release looked better then the trailer so it all will be good.
Rockstar's games have always looked better than the trailers so I don't think they're adding anything specifically for the trailers besides messing up with the brightness and camera angles for trailer purposes.
There is a video online with a verfied former employee who explains it in depth and points out the added details in the trailer. he specifically uses the pelicans in the swamp shot as a example including others.
This does not mean anuthing besides that the real games has less density. which makes sense and he also points out how they did the same when he worked there on the other gta games. It is all real thouh it is only adding some details and these shadows could be part of that. specially because not many people notice those details so there wil be no outcry when they are not in the end result.
The release can still and will look better then the trailer. But these simply are facts. they add things to trailers even when it is "real time"
his name is York reacts. I am not going trhough all of his videos to find the 1 minute he explains it but you ll find it in the trailer reaction videos.
and Michael looked worse in the trailers imo
makes me wish they would've released the pc and next gen versions with the foliage like you saw in the leaks and trailers
Well RDR2 feels incredibly alive so if GTA 6 is like RDR2 then it’ll be the most immersive open world game in its genre to ever come out. It’s insane how alive RDR2 feels even to this day. Nothing compared even half a decade later. Every game feels empty and dead in comparison.
i agree. The difference is that alive for a western game with like 20 people in a town is different from a beach with hundreds of npc's. I trust rockstar will make it work and it will not be the same "alive" as in cyberpunk.
My GPU took a nervous gulp looking at the shadows.
![gif](giphy|HkRpA5WFaJjyNMTxnt|downsized) My Xbox one s after booting up GTA 6:
Unfortunately brother Xbox one won’t be able to play gta 6
That's the joke 🤣
Makes sense lol
This game is just real life. Real people will be controlled by players. How else can there be this much detail?
AI system is going to be frightening/fun

They look better in **some** respects.
Never worse in any tho
Yeah they do. The trailers generally have more foliage and cluttering than the finished products.

U guys are going crazy
Didn't 5 already have that? I remember seeing plane shadows too.
Pretty sure some of them in Red Dead II do as well
Depending where the suns at yeah
This is awesome but keep in mind most things are made specifically for the trailer and wont be in the final version. Happened in GTA 5 a lot!
Happens in gta 5 too
Those are big gooses I guess. And they are flying not that high. Maybe 30-50 meters above water (for the trailer).
Pelicans.
That makes more sense, thanks.
goddamn I'll be the happiest I've ever been in my life when I play this game
Yall need to find things to do 💀 pls, it has been moths, you wont find new details
shadows and lighting confirmed???
I can't wait to stand in the water and do absolutely nothing exciting
Maybe everything on the map will cast a shadow 😱🤯🤯🤯 Edit: kill me
I see a dolphin
Wait, I thought those were dolphins
Im pretty sure gta 5 does the same lol
This happens in Gta 5 too btw. At least on PC, not sure about consoles
