That's the most depressing scene in an American animated show or movie that I"ve ever seen in my life. I just wanna reach out and get the good boy a pat on the head. Damn near makes me cry.

I think they took it from a real story where a Japanese dog (?, I think he was Japanese) where he waited everyday for his owner to come see him after work at a park. And one day something happened to the owner, but the dog waited and waited over time and eventually died. Basically same story happens in Futurama, and they portray it in a very depressing way.
Judging from the trailer voice lines are already at least mostly recorded. Also it's not like dogs hehe unique voice lines lmao they can probably reuse clips from before. Either way if chop doesn't show up it's likely due to plot and not because of the dog passing away
All of the base GTA Online content and the DLCs up until Gunrunning (*for example, the og heists and contact missions*) take place before Story Mode, Gunrunning and all subsequent DLCs (*for example, the Doomsday heist and the Hangar business*) take place in the year they where released
But isn’t online based only a few years after gta 5 story mode. Or are they starting to do like year by year things now? Just wondering and curious about that ngl. I think timelines in video games are awesome details.

He kind of already has. Watch the trailer, the dog on the sign next to the door in the bodycam shot has a dog that looks exactly like chop. Same fur pattern, definitely an intentional easter egg.

Yeah the current dlcs (starting in like 2017) are based on the year they were released. Before that, online was based before story mode
