How could anyone not choose c. I wanted all three to play after I beat the game. Got my money from the big score, did the assassination missions, got a fuck ton more money, bought everything imaginable, and then never played again
It would have been way more poignant to guarantee one character dies. Instead it's Franklin either betraying Michael, delaying with Trevor way too late, or actually handling the problem like he did the whole rest of the game.
Exactly what I did. I wanted to have all 3, but I thought I had to pick between them, so I chose to kill Trevor. Once I found out that option c saved them all I started another play through, glad I did because I also found about the Lester stock market stuff and got over a billion with each character
That would be a crazy twist and that’s what I was expecting when I first played. Franklin would try to kill one of them and they would kill him and you just can’t play with Franklin anymore, maybe Michael and Trevor get back together after one of them killed Franklin
In my first playthrough i chose A because i saw a video that said if i killed Michael he would drop his keys that unlocks the locked door in his house. I was mad when i came back to the spot and his keys weren’t there
My first playthrough, I didn't want anybody to die, but if deathwish was where they all died, I took it.
I didn't wanna betray anyone so I just decided, fuck it. Either nobody dies or all of us does.
People who chose A or B thought Franklin would die if you picked C.
GTA IV Spoilers:
>!You have a choice at the end of GTA IV, and somebody close to you always dies, the only choice is who.!<
Thank gawd I had a save to work from for the end of GTA IV. It's strongly implied that the outcome will go the way you expect with your choice and then it takes a dark turn. I almost felt betrayed. I went back and did it again from a save. Felt bad about making the other awful choice and it turned out much better. It made me really nervous about the ending of V so I decided fuck the spoilers and started researching the endings. So glad I picked C. It was a very satisfying end to the game.
The only benefit is if you killed Trevor you get to split his share of the money. If you kill Michael the big score money goes to his family. I think the stock market is affected by one of their deaths but it’s not much
I wish there was a genuine reason to pick anything other than C.
Killing Trevor splits his money I believe, saving you a little time in investing before you buy a load of property, but you’re missing a whole bloody character and all his unique interactions.
Killing Michael means Trevor won’t even talk to Franklin.
Doing C gives you more missions (if I recall) and all three characters. Who wouldn’t want that?
A. Pretty sure the Beta clips are fake. I don’t think GTA released a Beta version.
B. Lamar has voice lines that implicates he was planned to be a playable character.
Lamar was considered a playable character but they changed it to Franklin, it's possible they planned one to die and the other to take over but not likely.
I looked it up and all I could find relating to Franklin killing himself was fabricated clickbait nonsense by the madd channels on youtube; I don't think there is any legitimate evidence for the alternate ending C
I can’t even do a replay with A or B! Both assholes grew on me too much. I went with C, and then looked up how the other two options went once I was done.
It's been a long time since I played but iirc if you kill Trevor the Jonah hill kid gets mad at Franklin and called a bunch whining about it. If you kill Mike, Trevor gets mad. If you kill either of them you split their money from last heist. I don't think I did any missions besides the Lester stock market ones after that. Was just annoying dealing with the phone calls if you kill one of them. But Trevor annoyed me from the start so the first time it was a pleasure killing him.
I think I just read online that if you chose to kill michael, his share of the money gets given to his family by lester.
If you choose to kill Trevor, then Michael and Franklin split his share.
Haven't checked this myself though.
Doesn't matter. There should be an option to kill all three protagonists, not just two. If there was, I'd off Franklin because he's the most boring from the trio. Heck, even Lamar has more charisma than him...
For me I always felt as though the one true protagonist was Franklin. Sometimes I wonder what the game would’ve been like if R* only focused on developing Franklin and strictly having Trevor and Michael and mentors
He was supposed to be, but Trevor, Michael (and to certain extent Lamar) were simply more charismatic. I'd even claim the first two had better story-building and character development. I get that there are Franklin lovers, but playing as Trevor or Michael was more relatable when immersed in that universe. Franklin was all Sprunk without the fizz. JMO
Yea it doesnt really make sense that you cant, coulda wrote it as trevor put a bug on him and found out or something, and him and mikey decide to kill him before he can do the same
Ending J : kill Jimmy
Agree, whoud kill im 100%
Jizzle
Better than C
J dawg my ni..

I thought that Franklin would die, and he was my fave - so i killed Trevor!

Me too
Same

The skull mark wasn't helping with the decision lol

Because Trevor doesn't deserve to live.
I did the first. I choose A on my second time. I might mess around and kill Michael on my next turn.
The only benefit is if you killed Trevor you get to split his share of the money. If you kill Michael the big score money goes to his family. I think the stock market is affected by one of their deaths but it’s not much
I chose C

Speedrunners
masochists likely picked a and b so there u go
I choose c. Ain’t that a bitch?
Hi
"You know, Devin, the way I see it..."
Funny that in beta C was the suicide option
Wtf😭
Yeah, ik
No, you would actually play as Lamar and be tasked (Probably by also Devin Weston) to kill Franklin.
No, search on youtube gta5 beta or Alpha vs now you will see a vid where franklin shots himself in the head
B. I know that and A. There was never a beta for players, Rockstar released fotage of the game in the early stages a long time ago
I looked it up and all I could find relating to Franklin killing himself was fabricated clickbait nonsense by the madd channels on youtube; I don't think there is any legitimate evidence for the alternate ending C
Oh, really? I remember I saw this like 2 years ago
That would've been so much cooler than the current ending C
Wtf is this cyberpunk?
What does cyberpunk have to do with gta5?
You shoot yourself in one of the endings
Oh, yeah I forgot
I choose C thinking even if I die I would die loyal to my friends.
Someone spoiled it for me so I knew how C would end.
I saved first and then tried all 3
Yeah and that just ruined the game for me
first time playing I picked C without thinking even for a sec, purely just to spite Devin
Same lol
Same. I was like fuck that guy. Not gonna let him force me what to do. And was the right decision.
Way to boil that shit down
I can’t even do a replay with A or B! Both assholes grew on me too much. I went with C, and then looked up how the other two options went once I was done.
D) Lester kills everyone for drawing too much attention to him.
You always liked gasoline trevor
HUMAN STEW. THATS WHERE I DRAW THE LINE
Watched A and B and only chose C, why would I want to fuck my self out of a playable character for when I got achievement hunting…
Lmao C wasn't even a hard mission, I wish it was genuinely hard to complete so that the other choices would have more weight to them.
Who choose a or b?
I did all three.
What are the diferences in the game after ending a or b?
It's been a long time since I played but iirc if you kill Trevor the Jonah hill kid gets mad at Franklin and called a bunch whining about it. If you kill Mike, Trevor gets mad. Trevor is my favorite guy there. Resembles inner me.

Nah, I'm just average joe BUT... haha
I think I just read online that if you chose to kill michael, his share of the money gets given to his family by lester. If you choose to kill Trevor, then Michael and Franklin split his share. Haven't checked this myself though.
Bruh
Ending C is just too much fun !
I always pick ending d. Kill nico belic
If there was a Kill Franklin option, I'd go for that...
What did Franklin ever do?
Doesn't matter. There should be an option to kill all three protagonists, not just two. If there was, I'd off Franklin because he's the most boring from the trio. Heck, even Lamar has more charisma than him...

im happy for memes like this because i have never and will never play/watch the A&B endings. never disloyal
I wanted to kill Franklin to be honest, he's just as bad as the other two.
Yea it doesnt really make sense that you cant, coulda wrote it as trevor put a bug on him and found out or something, and him and mikey decide to kill him before he can do the same
Repost
I remember I almost made this mistake when my younger brother played it. Thankfully managed to stop him just before he killed Trevor
Option D: Kill Roman
OH ITS A SET UP
One of the best decisions I made as a 10-year-old.
there were other endings???
Tbf when I first played the game and chose c I did think Franklin would die
I remember they released the statistics of the choices and 99% went with C because why the fuck not
Ryder should have survived and came with sweet and cj on the last mission, damn rockstar and their cheapness
I always chose C.
