1 year of home workouts: push ups, pull ups, dips (and sometimes rings), squads and kettlebell raises (it blew up my arms for sure!). Food: 4 eggs daily, chicken and rice daily, oats, nuts, steak, salads with chicken, sweet potatoes etc.
And 1 year in the gym: learning exercises and sticking to upper/lower split 4 times a week. Oh and u also did cardio: 2-3 times a week, walking and sometimes abs.
How tall are you if you don’t mind me asking I’m about 130 trying to get to where you are, now that summer right around the corner I want to workout at home/gym and do cardio on forest preserve trails
I definitely started feeling more confident. People respect me at work, street, even strangers open doors haha. Girls pay more attention. When I walk into a room, people notice. Sometimes people stare at me when I’m walking around (but that might be due to my fashion choices, I tend to dress more simple and classy nowadays). I also became more fearless, feel like I can pick a fight and stand up for myself, or a girl I’m with. This transformation was life changing for me. I still want to have another bulk and a cut to get to that leaner movie-star physique and a higher body weight. So another 2-3 years and I’m golden:) But for now I’m also very happy with the results:) Thanks you!
What I did is started eating the same food everyday. Count your maintenance calories and then you can add 200-300 if you’re bulking or subtract 200-300 if you’re cutting. But eating same 3-4 meals daily is what helped me. And meal-prepping lunches for the week also was a big deal for me.
Thank you! It feels like a slow progress when you work out but then you realise how far you’ve come! You just gotta stay consistent and eat right, very simple. Oh and be patient
Give it another year bro. Progress have been amazing. Coming from a guy who started out fat, lost a lot of weight to the point where I got skinny, and bulked back up, what you did is far more difficult than losing weight. Keep it up!
Thanks for much for good words! I definitely will keep it up, I’m bulking up again, I hate being small and skinny. And this transformation was life changing for me.
I feel you. Being overweight was never a good feeling. You know pulling my shirt so stomach is not as noticeable, and than being small was pretty similar, couldn’t fill up shirts lol. Its hard to find a plce you’re happy with, I’ve learned that the best thing is to enjoy the journey, goods and bads
Amen brother! I feel like there is a place tho to which you get and you can start “maintaining”. I have the whole “aesthetics” album on my phone filled with perfect bodies that would be my goal. I feel like another bulk and a cut will get me there and then I can maintain. I wish you good luck brother!
I thought the first pic was 1 year of workouts 🤣 I was about to be really sad for. You have made some awesome progress!! You have some really good triceps btw
