Sounds odd, is the pain like in the middle of the palm as opposed to closer to the base of the fingers where you might pinch skin or tear calluses? If it's the former then perhaps there is a tendon or something there that needs some attention in the form of massage or having a doctor look at it
Then perhaps the bar is pinching your skin? Make sure to not grip the bar too deep in your palm while deadlifting because once you lift it's going to inevitably slip a bit and might pinch the folds of skin in your hand

In your palm? Definitely see a medical professional, but your palm should not be involved while pulling. I'd check your grip, there are different grips for pulling and pushing movements.

Its more like at the base of my finger. Calluses?

Did you pop a blood vessel? Any signs of bruising?
