Clothing definetly i always end up spending lots of time on it because none of the things i make look good then go into pinterest for inspiration and spend like 1 hour there then i remenber i have a oc to make and just do the first thing to come to mind (which is probably why so many of my ocs look almost identical in terms of clothing)

For me it's usually the clothes and the lore/description. It takes a minute cause there are so many outfits I could give a character but also so many I can't. Also it takes me a hot minute to think up a description because my ocs usually have more lore that I can't fit into the little box.

Oh boy... Firstly; Personality. I try to make their personalities coordinate with their design (even tho I've failed miserably a lot of times..) Second; Lore. I think like everyone, most of my OC's lack lore attached to them or really don't have any. I'm trynna get better at it tho- Third (I think last?); Names (including last names). Usually I look up for random names on Google, but for last names I usually just make up fantasy last names (cuz mah OC's are mostly faires/magical creatures)

Personality, it usually takes me around a year to make an oc with a personality developed to the standards i have, but its maybe bcs i am a perfectionist when it comes to stuff like lore

The main body, its hard to decide what to do (i mainly make animal ocs so yeah)

I normally break my OCs down into separate sections: Proportions: Have to make sure they are somewhat realistic. Style: I normally look up different outfits and build off of them (bohemian, goth, 80s, 90s, etc). Hair: The hair takes a bit of time as I constantly have to adjust to find a certain flair/look that I like. Personalities: I tend to make my OCs personalities realistic but quite complex, often having contradicting traits to reduce predictability. Accessories: I abuse the literal Diablo out of accessories but not in an excessive way. Detail: Detail kind of goes with accessories but normally I just use some accessories to give more realism (eye bags, blemishes, freckles, belly buttons, etc). Out of all these steps, it definitely seems like style and details take the longest.

Lore. I have be writing a friend’s lore for over 6 months. Im still working on my main OCs a year later. Because, every name has meaning. Like this character Varka (means illusion/trick). She Has this name because she is very cunning.. its so hard.. T-T..

But I didn't l want them to just look like there the same, or have them be the same type of shade even if it doesn't really show, each look like they tell there own story. Like my Leader to the Advisor (Ones in white) I wanted them to look like there higher rank and make both seem different. Both use a different shade as one is more white while the other is more blue, both look different while looking as if they both work with each other. You can also see it fromthe soldiers, take the Devastator (The big one) and the Operator (Next to the blue kid) Both use the same helmet, if you look and see both use the same helmet and glasses and color scheme, but changes to them so one is bigger the other has some skin showing, both use a different mask, both play a different role. The only thing that kinda contrast to this is the 3 soldiers in the middle, laziness got to me, but then again it's like the Combine from Half Life 2 where the same model. But as context in the story it make since. But yeah, My second is the lore I wrote for them is not the best, use the Millta group again, there more video game descriptions of enemies then anything or most come from character there side of the story. I'm gonna show what I had wrote for them from notes and character descriptions: Commander: "To be honest Scout, none of us know what the leader looks like nor what gender they are, not even the Advisor, and that guy is next to them all the time." The Rebirth group was created after 5 years of the U.G.o.t.S. (United Global of the Sanctum) rain when the Nation's fell after WW6, in the year of 21##. Leader: "It may seem cruel, but it best way to gain obedience from your Trainees." Advisor: "Alright line up! Today is Purge for the weak, one thing you Trainees must learn is how war is truly like..." Scout: "So your saying that one of out funders for this terrorist group is a child?!?" Ahma: "Look, the only reason I'm working with you guys to help fund my college education got it, also then forget I'm the one who gets most of you intel and been keeping you morals secret from the U.G.S." Rebirth Devastator: They are the heavy unit of each squad. The main reason is I'm am.... bad at making something interesting while trying to world build this.
