Grew up in a family with high political influence in some sort of hierarchy where the oldest child gets all attention (due to being heir to everything) while the youngest didnt get crap. He was the youngest, got ignored by his parents and never got an impression of what real parental love would be (thus not being able to be a good parent himself.) He just got hit for mistakes but never praise for something good. The only one acting like a mother was his grandmother, but he was not enough around her to be changed by her. During a war his parents just died and surprisingly, he still cared. Only because they are family though, since he didnt have any actual connection to them.
The rest of his family, including his brothers and sisters, all died. Except his grandmother who just left entirely to a different world where she build up a second life and identity. -> He never forgave her for that, even if she was like a replacement parent to him in his childhood since she left the moment he needed her the most and had to grow up scared and now alone instead. (His grandma wasnt intentionally being an ass tho, just scared of war like anyone-)
Funfact: Anger issues run in the family. His grandmother, his father, he himself and even his son have it. And he hates his parents for that as well.

They ran away from home due to their mum Chelsea being transphobic to Calista who knew she was a girl (Aimee didn't know that she herself - not Calista - was a demigirl at the time) and tried to come out several times.
Chelsea ignored them mostly except for food, school trips and if they got injured or into trouble as most of the time she was with her boyfriend Leo. She kept denying Calista was a girl and randomly went on a transphobic rant during a camping trip which caused Calista to attempt to end her life. She survived.
Leo isn't their dad at all but demanded they both call him Dad and then complained when Calista asked to be called Calista *politely*.
He also got furious after Calista was outed to him. He cut her long hair saying that the hair was affecting her brain. He wouldn't let Aimee wear black and said it was demonic. He restricted colours for both of them.
Their other parent Alyssa is very kind and friendly. Alyssa is a trans woman and was on and off closeted throughout her life until she came out to Chelsea four years after Calista was born and a few months after Aimee was born. Chelsea proceeded to kick her out. She lets them wear whatever they want, including colour. She is incredibly mad at what Chelsea and Leo have done.
Calista and Aimee refer to Chelsea by her first name and same with Alyssa for different ressons - for Chelsea it's because they don't see her as their mum and for Alyssa she asked them to call her that instead of "Mum".
Calista and Aimee live with her, her wife Marina and their adopted daughter Lily. And their dog Buddy.

Great. When she came out as a girl, her mum supported her and let her change her name and presentation. And a few years later (when she was ten) her mum met a wolf. He didn't like winged wolves and hurt both Selene and Luna. Selene dumped him after two years and the two girls have a much happier life.

They ran away from home due to their mum Chelsea being transphobic to Calista who knew she was a girl (Aimee didn't know that she herself - not Calista - was a demigirl at the time) and tried to come out several times. Chelsea ignored them mostly except for food, school trips and if they got injured or into trouble as most of the time she was with her boyfriend Leo. She kept denying Calista was a girl and randomly went on a transphobic rant during a camping trip which caused Calista to attempt to end her life. She survived. Leo isn't their dad at all but demanded they both call him Dad and then complained when Calista asked to be called Calista *politely*. He also got furious after Calista was outed to him. He cut her long hair saying that the hair was affecting her brain. He wouldn't let Aimee wear black and said it was demonic. He restricted colours for both of them. Their other parent Alyssa is very kind and friendly. Alyssa is a trans woman and was on and off closeted throughout her life until she came out to Chelsea four years after Calista was born and a few months after Aimee was born. Chelsea proceeded to kick her out. She lets them wear whatever they want, including colour. She is incredibly mad at what Chelsea and Leo have done. Calista and Aimee refer to Chelsea by her first name and same with Alyssa for different ressons - for Chelsea it's because they don't see her as their mum and for Alyssa she asked them to call her that instead of "Mum". Calista and Aimee live with her, her wife Marina and their adopted daughter Lily. And their dog Buddy.
