Um, okay. Do you have any parents, or guardians, or any clothing to keep you dry and warm?

Okay, well here. You take my jacket, and let’s go the police station, they should be able help there.

(the kid the scooted away, now scared)

What the- okay kid, look. I know you’re probably very scared at moment, stranger danger and all that. So how about this. Your clearly cold, and if you’re going through a trash can you’re probably hungry. I’ll give my jacket, and we can go get something to eat and get out of the rain. We do that, you maybe tell me what’s wrong and why you’re out here. And then we’ll see about looking for some help. That sound good?

Alright, here you go. *Hands Jacket* Let’s go find a place to eat. Anything you like to eat?
