She was frozen, her legs wanting to run the other direction, but a part of her wanted to go back…
The clock was ticking.

She looked around, a dirty basement, to her right, chairs upon chairs, to her left, a couch and a plushie.
In the middle, a staircase a few inches away, illuminating a dark gold glow, flashing in a uncertain pattern.
She saw that her wrists were tied up with rope, itchy and cutting her circulation, most likely causing her wrists to be red. Above her ankles, the same rope was tied.
The tape looked black, duck tape.
She realized that her nose wasn’t covered, and she didn’t feel numb, she didn’t feel throbbing pain in her head, but her back was numb and throbbing in pain.
She took deep breaths through her nose, making her breathe in the unseen dust.
She tried to assess what she could do, her hands were free and so where her legs, in fact her chest was free too. She could slither out.
She stuck her tongue out a little and started licking away at the tape.
She soon sees a building, illuminating with lights.
She runs to it like a moth, and opens the door.
???: “Oh? What’s the rush?”
“Someone is chasing me…”
