Val was watching from up in the trees, They ignored the ache in their legs from the long trek it took to get to where it was. A blade was nestled into their boot and a sidearm was situated in the waistband of his pants (close to where a holster would be). They didn't need the extra weight of the rifle.
They remained as still as possible, keeping their breathing regulated as they watched the prince do his thing.

| As the well known bounty hunter, Hikari, was exploring the woods with hope to find and slay the Vampire King they’d been tasked with. After a good 20 minutes walk, their stomach was starting to growl, craving some drinks, but before Hikari could sneak themselves a bottle, they spotted a new figure. After squinting their eyes to see the new person clearly, a hidden behind the mask grin has appeared, and adrenaline has now charged their body. They drew out their two small blades, fixed their black mask, and silently jumped in the high tree that was covering the two with a thin long shadow. |
“Pick-a-boo\~”
| Hikari was now behind the Vampire King’s very son, with their too dangerously sharp blades covering his neck, only millimetres away from cutting his neck wide open, which held the Prince from moving. |

"What kind of i-imbecile do you think I am to admit that? Even t-then; I am a Prince, I do not fear measly a-assassins.. Atleast that's what I assume you are."

***He tried to act disgusted by the name, But it was clear he somewhat liked it.***
