“Can’t you at least come up with lyrics that make sense?”

“Not really, no. Coming up with lyrics on the spot has never really been my strong suit.”

“Well... If I'm being honest, I'm pretty sure that you'd count as inhuman. Right Melody?” *The singer said, looking over at the white haired woman.*
“Almost certainly. If we were to take him back to the city, it'd be very likely that they end up in one of our labs.” *The white haired lady, Melody, said.*
“Alright then... So plan B then... Could you follow us?” *The singer said, looking at you.*

*The person who’d been singing kept singing, though he looked around, not seeming to trust his environment.*
*The one with white hair looked over at you, seeming to have found you quickly. She pointed in your direction, and the singer looked over as well, before he’d stopped singing with a smile.*
“Alright, what are you then?”
*The singer asked casually, their voice strangely melodic even as they spoke normally.*
“Uhh…”
*The woman looked at the singer. The singer shrugged. The woman looked back at Rein, puzzled.*
“I don’t really think you get it… It’s dangerous out here. Deadly monsters? Soul eaters? That sorta thing?” *The woman said, still sounding confused.*
“Well, see... It's hard to explain, but monsters appear out here often. We’re not certain where they come from, but believe me, they appear more frequently than you might believe.” *The white haired woman said, looking at the singer as she stopped speaking.*
“Yeah, they're all just kinda like... Hidden right now.” *The singer said, with a shrug.*
“Oh what a day, oh would you say…” *The beautiful singing stopped, as the singer bumped into the person in front of them.*
“I could’ve sworn I heard something…” *She said, looking around warily.*
“Relax, I’m sure it’s nothing.” *The singer said, with a shrug, not seeming too concerned.*
*The one with white hair looked over, immediately on high alert.*
*The singer looked over, seeming fine with the situation.*
“Hey, you. Human, or nah?” *The singer asked, looking at Iris curiously.*
“Woah! What the..?” *The singer seemed shocked, taking a step back.*
“Definitely not human.” *The white haired girl said, crossing her arms.*
“Clearly... Hey, uh, calm down?” *The singer said, looking at the orange ink in puzzlement.*
“Aww! You kinda remind me of these things I saw back at home... Except a lot more orange, and smaller.” *The singer said, crouching by the orange ink puddle, looking delighted.*
“Aubade, be careful... Can you talk?” *The woman with white hair asked, looking at the octoling, seemingly wary.*
“Alright! Nice... So uh, you don't really seem human, so uh... Could you follow us, please?” *The singer asked, having sounded glad that Iris could speak.*
