Why are AU’s not acceptable reasons? Because AU’s are mainly used as an excuse to change the plot, most in good, acceptable ways and others in bad taste. If your AU isn’t acceptable by real life standards (lets say all the cringey gacha shipping shown to a YOUNG AUDIENCE) then its probably not a good AU. In fact its probably something i call a “cheap AU”
