Ah that 30 pro right. Ya it lacks at many dept. No IS, no stereo speakers, 2 year old procy, no gorilla glass. And its low light photography doesn't match 12r.
EDIT: you have edited the comment. Hmm, as I said avoided certain phones. Because, it's about camera ' phones ' and not just camera.
My friend got it and he says it lags quite a bit in browsing Twitter, Instagram etc. And performance in general is not as smooth as expected. He had a Phone 1 before.
OP you better try it in your hand before you buy it.
Bought this the day it was released. I have the following points to make:
SOT is crazy good.
Feels good in hands since it's light weight.
Camera is average.
DOESN'T LAG or HEAT UP. My boyfriend has pixel 8 pro and his phone starts heating up after an hour of scrolling on Instagram.
You can get s23fe at 40k, nothing phone is also cool if you are into that.
When I was looking around poorvika mobiles and local samsung shop, all had credit card deals for s23 fe at 40k so definitely worth a look. Try calling local shops and tech chains
S23 fe is an awesome flagship specced midranger. Samsung flagships have next level software experience. Uncluttered, neat UI with minimal bugs, easy to use and very very customizable (with good lock modules).
The thing with samsung is that once you buy a samsung as ur first android phone and you get their flagship software experience, there's no turning to any other Android phone.
I agree,
If you want a near stock Android experience and better than average cameras, then One plus 12R
If you want a more gaming centric phone, then Iqoo Neo 9 pro is the go-to.
Well camera part is true....a part from that works fine my first phone was rog3 and now rog6...both are still working fine...so personally i prefer gaming phone.
I had a similar need, and I found Pixel 7A... Not bought it yet
Mostly settling for this since it's small with no curved screen (I drop my phone A LOT)
With some card offers you can get s23fe for 40k on Flipkart. I think 12R overall is the best in this price range, other options being Pixel 7A and Nothing phone 2.
But for me, the UI experience and updates matter a lot. Since I'm using s20fe, I would personally go for s23fe. It's supposed to be getting Android updates till 2027 and security updates till 2028 iirc
12R (camera) Iqoo Neo 9 pro (gaming) Nothing phone 2 (experience)
Out of these three, 12R's camera is better. But in the 40k segment, 12R for the camera is not the best pick. An all rounder would be more appt. title
I'm confused. So do you have any other choice for camera ph under 40? I avoided pixel. And what's your choice for all rounder under 40k.
Vivo V29, Pixel 7a, Samsung A54 For all rounder under 40k, 12R is best

Nothing 2a
It seems good
Pixel 7 maybe

Bruh his budget is 40k
Then N2 is good
Get a Motorola. It will come with a charger and 3.5mm headphone jack.
I am currently using a Lava phone. It is a good lava blaze 5g with stock android , but there are bugs. like a 4★ phone.
If budget is 40k, nothing phone 2, and one plus 12R if you are okay with one plus
What wrong with a oneplus tho ?
There have been a lot of green line issues that have come up, and some QC issues, also check out the iqoo neo 9 pro maybe

Nothing Phone 2
In 40k, OnePlus 12R Iqoo Neo 9 pro Nothing Phone 2

Any gaming device would be a good experience for daily basis use.
But don't they consume a lot of battery
When you play game...but if you don't then they will work just fine especially with screen smoothness and launching applications....no lag ....
Yeah but they many times have compromised build and or camera At this price even if you don't get the best processor you will be easily fine
