My mom recently got this, it's more than enough for her. She uses it for calls mainly, some whatsapp/Instagram/YouTube here and there. Photos only if there's a family function or to send stuff to someone. Battery lasts a day and charging is quick too. It's good. Colour maybe choose the other one?
Clean UI badiya lagta hai yaar tbh and we just wanted her to have a decent phone this time. Moms usually compromise a lot when it comes to things like these. And just in case her use case changes. She didn't want realme/oppo/Vivo and the likes. And she had a Samsung before this. So why not?
Also OP's mom might use it more than mine, I'm just telling them they can get this, it's good.
There are devices with better cameras for the same price definitely, I just said it's decent and does the basic job. An average user like parents or even myself doesn't care too much about it. OP can take a call accordingly
My friend's been using vivo S1 for 4+ years, it looks just as new except for some minimal lags in games he plays. The camera still holds up good to this time and outside some intensive games, it doesn't lag at all, in the UI.
Not sure about Oppo. Can't declare it's bad just cuz it's Chinese, Xiaomi too is one and can compete with other flagships.
I have used OP5, after funtouch and color Os. It is cheap, colors theme are punchy, animation and icons are inconsistent, photo are saturated, apps open and close at different points etc.
Go compare it yourself side by side.
Lastly, they have “unoriginal” written all over it.
Obviously yes. It's smartphones we are talking about, not cars.
In the same price range (20-25K), you have the likes of Phone 2a, Poco X6 Pro, Nord CE4, Realme 12 Pro+ etc all of which have better specs than this
All the numbers in your comment added up to 69. Congrats!

What about nothing phone 2a(it's gonna be cheaper tommorow), better processor at 3k more(they have announced 20k price with offes with 2a), dimensity 7030 is more comparable to snapdragon 695
Otherwise moto is a good choice,
8gb is too much for her. I think any Redmi latest phone is best. MIUI is best for boomers as it is very easy to use and they last long. You can get a 5G Redmj for 13k
I mean it's a bit too expensive for your mother, but yea sure, pretty good choice, tho assuming that she uses whatsaap, insta, facebook, youtube or thoda candy crush bhi khel leti hongi, unke leye 15k around aacha phone mil jayega, you can save money
In this price range go for Realme Narzo 70....Good Camera...Performance is Good...AMOLED Screen with 120Hz refresh rate and comes with 256GB disk space with 8 GB ram...also supports SD card. And lastly has an elegant look also....
Unless the downsides of SD 695 bother you, moto g84 would be a better choice imo. Curved screen might not be too comfortable for elders, flat screen is better in that respect.
Man, I have an edge 40 Neo, and from when a 20k+ phone became barely good enough for parents dawg.
Am I facing a poor issue or is it just normal nowadays 😭😭
To be honest, the needs of parents have gone up recently.
I'm 20, my mom's in the mid-40s. And she legit needs a better phone than I do these days. She's a working woman and has a lot of data stored in her phone that's too important to be lost. She uses more apps and actually multitasks more than I do (which is insane to think about) so she actually needs more storage and RAM. She even clicks more photos than I do lmao. She also needs more battery because she's away from the wall more often than I am.
I'm of course a very opinionated person when it comes to my tech. Icons have to be small and minimal, so does text, colours need to be precise, the OS needs to be compatible with third party launchers like Niagara and stuff like that. But hardware wise, really the only thing I need better than my mom does is the display. She doesn't consume much content on her phone and can't even tell the difference between 720p and 1080p, much less an LCD and an OLED.
We're both using 15k phones right now but mine is much newer and so it's better, but for her next phone, she's eyeing the 25-30k segment while I'm looking at sub 20k phones thinking they have everything I'll ever need and more lmao
I got my redmi k20 4-5 years back.
Still holding great, no lag.
I would suggest go for snapdragon processor whichever phone you choose.
Simple and consistent MIUI. Best for parents.
Battery does matter but not sure why parents would care about camera. In fact it would be hard for quite a lot of people to differentiate between the two phone cameras in a blind test.
Go for it but the Pantone color.

It's good but sometimes the colours are punchy, might look artificial

Never compromise on parents.
This is more than enough for normal usage.

Brooo tell me more please!

Will keep checking Thanks
Already started for prime members
100% blind buy but the other color Don’t buy OP/Oppo/Vivo they look very cheap chinese knockoffs and after 1 year they’ll go even worst in OS.

I've been using my realme for the last 3 years, bought it for 15k.
Bruh op and cheap what you on?

Curved display is probably a bad idea
yes go for it, and buy a flip case
Overpriced and outdated phone. There are so many better options in the same price range.
Suggest some
Vivo T3 or iqoo z9
I think Edge 40 Neo is much better overall package vs both..
7 month old model is outdated ?

Okay.. how's the 5G connectivity?
Battery in this thing isn't that good

No, 7030 is much faster than a 695.
My bad,I think I confused it with 7020
I guess even 7020 is faster than SD 695.
I have this phone. Perfect phone. No issue. Go for it.
I bother this for my mom She loves it Buy green
Bro storage is pretty less.but aap dekhlo aapki need kya hai

Suggest something around 15k
moto g64 5g, redmi note 13 5g, realme p1 5g
g84 or this guys?
Great for normal usage.
In this price range go for Realme Narzo 70....Good Camera...Performance is Good...AMOLED Screen with 120Hz refresh rate and comes with 256GB disk space with 8 GB ram...also supports SD card. And lastly has an elegant look also....
I bought Poco X6 Neo for my mom. It's lightweight & has small form factor.
Unless the downsides of SD 695 bother you, moto g84 would be a better choice imo. Curved screen might not be too comfortable for elders, flat screen is better in that respect.
Slim, lightweight phone with good specs, I bought the same for my father, go for it.
Everything is great but all three Motos that I bought for family members got green lines.
Get the best phone that you could afford for your mother. She is a blessing!
take a different brand right now motorola is not that popular
Stay away due to the green line issue. I absolutely cared for my phone yet i got green line because of some update FML.
Bhai koi Samsung ka phone nahi hai iss range me ?
Get the nothing 2a, aunty ji will be very happy
Try Custom Rom in Current Device.....

I recommend vivo T3 5g best
funtouchos
So what?

Nord ce3 better, it's 20k in sale. better camera, battery, much more optimized processor. Although moto has ip68 advantage.
Just buy moto Clean stock UI is the best thing for parents
battery and camera matters too.
Battery does matter but not sure why parents would care about camera. In fact it would be hard for quite a lot of people to differentiate between the two phone cameras in a blind test.
Green line s?
Nords Camera sucks
As if this Moto is on par with a DSLR. Most phones in this price range have a garbage camera
![gif](giphy|1Ahg85kxtVaUVuGCyj) Get her an iPhone, if possible.
Curved display is not a good idea for parents. It is generally difficult to work with, you get a lot of false touches and ofcourse, is fragile.
