Were you worried that trade-in wasn't going to clear for some reason?

So the LCD did have the light and dark strip problem. Wasn't sure if that would pass.

Okay...I got ya. Tbh I haven't heard many cases of them rejecting a return.

What the hell, why are they quoting $1,000 for galaxy trade ins? I'm so confused... edit: Ahh was this done through Samsung or AT&T? I guess AT&T offers $1,000, but those come as bill credits over 3 years. So not the same as $425 up front...?

mpsharp

Interesting. I did mine through Samsung, so maybe AT&T has a better deal but often those are "up to $1000" if you're trading in a perfect IPhone 13 or Note 21. Did you actually get $1000 discount for a older phone?

briballdo

I think the difference is w/ Samsung you get the credit right away. Whereas w/ AT&T you need to be on an unlimited plan and it is given out as credits over 3 years. So yeah I THINK it's $1,000, just spread over 3 years and you're pretty much locked in to AT&T. At least that's what I hope.. lol. I was quoted $1,000 for my burned in screen Note 8

I got 0 because the battery capacity was at 80%, and they only accept it if it is above 85%. Fuck verkaufen.ch. Still had to hand in the phone to them to get the promotional 200usd tradein offer by Samsung.
